Emmy’s birthday party is this coming Sunday and the theme is “Sweets 4 the Sweet: A Candy Shoppe Party”. I have been working on some candy themed decorations, and my sihouette has been my best friend through this process. I decided to make 2 lollipop flowers for our table. Since I am so cheap thrifty and savvy, I recycled last year’s Pinkaliscious party decorations, seen here.
I saved them as is in my basement, so all I did to make the lollipop flowers was remove the existing flowers, leaving in a block of green floral foam covered by red shredded and crimped paper. Clearly, a cup of coordinating coffee is vital in this process. Using my silhouette, I cut out 4″ circles and pale pink “4”‘s. My husband claims he is going to tell people I have mad cutting skills, since barely any of my friends know what a silhoutte is. Thanks, honey!
