AKA Longest Title Ever.
Happy Monday! Did you all have a great weekend and Mother’s Day? My family gave me the best gift I could ask for- home made cards, lots of kisses, and they picked up the house without my asking! That’s a treat. I spent much of the day working on projects I wanted to complete for the Lucketts market which is this coming weekend! Over the next few days, I will share some of those new redos with you, starting with my favorite and most exciting! And I am going to say sorry now for not having better staged photos… I am in crunch week, and just didn’t have the space or time. Thanks for understanding!
It was a hot mess! It had a broken drawer, scratches all over it, and you can see where I removed some stickers. When I first picked it up, my plan was to refinish it in a darker stain and use it in my bedroom as a credenza. However, the broken drawer front had been feebly nailed on with wide nails that made white the holes and ruining this option, as I needed to fill the holes. The stained filler spots would definitely annoy me.
I just love these new details- they look like they were meant to be there!
Again, I want to say a huge thank you to Sarah Dorsey and to my neighbor, Travis, for all of their hard work and help on this piece. Without them, this would never have been possible! This dresser is headed to the Lucketts Spring Market this weekend! I hope it finds its forever home…. I need someone to really love and appreciate it. 🙂
And now, I am off to the barn for packing up smalls…. and thus starts the week of craziness!!!!
