In the past, I’ve shared with you all that our family loves the cheesy matching Christmas pajama tradition. We started giving Sawyer and Emmy matching Christmas PJs on Christmas Eve when they were very little, and have kept it up over the years. (They’re currently 11 & 13.) I was worried that this year, with an 11 year old, 13 year old, and an almost 8 month old at Christmas, that I would have to give that tradition up or simply find coordinating pajamas for them. However, I was happily wrong! Last year in my quest, I stumbled upon a great resource for pajamas for the family. This year, after searching high and low, I remembered that I had already found the most affordable source for Christmas PJs and decided to check their website again. As luck would have it, they had tons of options that had pajamas for the ENTIRE family, even babies and pets! (This post contains affiliate links).
This year I am a repeat Christmas pajama customer at Kohl’s, my friends! I honestly am not a big Kohl’s shopper year round which is why I had sort of forgotten about it as a resource. After an hour or so of searching with everything coming up either sold out in sizes needed or totaling $500 to outfit the three kids (mid exaggeration), I remembered and landed on the Kohl’s website, happily discovering tons of options. I also loved that they had different styles in the same print… in the past I had purchased boys’ pajamas that seemed unisex enough, but Kohl’s had nightgowns and pajama pants sets in the same prints which were perfect for us last year.
I will show you some favorites from this year’s selection and then share with you what I settled on.
First of all, I completely missed these Dinosaur PJs when I looked the first time. They would have been so good for our family! I might have even been tempted to dress the dogs!
If you’re less of a classics person and like your quirk, you might like the ones I finally decided on. When I saw this set, complete with a Yeti fleece onesie sleeper for Emmy, I knew it was the winner! Emmy currently has two full one piece fleece pj sets and wears them all the time… an owl, and a unicorn. What would complete that set besides an adorable yeti? I also knew that Sawyer would like these and not find them too juvenile.
I can’t wait to see all three kids wearing their yeti pajamas on Christmas Eve. This tradition is definitely one that puts is in the spirit, as you can see below from last year’s traditional Christmas headlock. (Pardon the terrible iPhone pic but it’s all I have!)
Does your family do the Christmas pajama thing? And if you do, what has been your favorite pajama set of Christmas past?
