Bringing the Colors of Spring Inside

Today, I am over at Remodelaholic sharing some easy and temporary ways to bring Spring color into your home.  If you are like me, the minute the sun starts to stay out a little longer, the buds are breaking earth, and the birds are chirping…. you are ready to start bringing color into your home and beating the Winter doldrums!

Check out the full post for all the details, but I will share this little redo with you here.  I have this teensy little vintage dresser that I have had in my entry in the last house, and also in this one, because in both cases it has been the perfect size.  Here it is in the last home, in its last rendering in Newburg Green.

And at Christmas time in this house…

Well the entry here doesn’t get much natural light, so I decided it needed some brightening, espeically with Spring here now.  I planned to paint it a bright kelly green, but then came across a beautiful green mistint at Home Depot.  sanded off the Newburg Green, and gave it its new coat.  I searched through my knobs and found some fun aqua knobs.  I only had 6 though, so the bottom drawer has no knobs for now… until I can get to a Hobby Lobby!
But here it is in its new happy green!

Head over the Remodelaholic for some more Spring additions!

I bet the furniture in your house anxiously sits around wondering when it’ll be their turn to get new clothes. Ha! Great job on your dresser, Cassie.

Thanks for stopping by Gwen and my blog swap on Monday – her apron was amazing, I’d never be able to mix those patterns and come out with something someone would be seen in.
