Christmas Tour Season!

This time of year is my most favorite in blog land- Christmas tour season!  The holidays are a time to make one’s home as fun as the imagination can stretch!  Lights, beads, garlands and glitter evoke joy and symbolize the reason for the season!  I am thrilled to be participating in two blog tours this year.  I took so many photos last weekend, and have been trying to narrow them down…

Lindsay kicked off her Blogger Stylin’ Home Tour yesterday, and it runs all week long, featuring 7-8 homes each day.  I will be sharing my master bedroom, living room, and a bit more this Friday.  You can start the tour at The White Buffalo Styling Co, and also find everyone on instagram with #bloggerstylinhometours.  I took all of Monday’s tours and my mind was blown by the talent and beauty created by my fellow bloggers.

Today Jenny of Evolution of Style starts of the 12 Days of Christmas Tour of Homes she’s put together.  This tour is also loaded with beautiful homes I can’t wait to see!  Next Wednesday it will be my turn, and I’ll be sharing my kitchen & dining room and more!  You can see the list below, and find everyone on instagram using #12daysofchristmasbloggertour.

12day15Now for fun I thought I would revisit some of my Christmas tours of time gone by.

Last year I participated in Lindsay’s tour, and my mantle was one of my favorites in black, white, silver, and gold.  It will be hard to top this year!

It was also the first year I put a tree in our room.  I did it again this year!

bshtmaster5I can’t wait to show you how the tree looks in that space this year!

In 2013 I participated in Lindsay’s tour for the first time, and it was the last Christmas I had a gray mantle.  I painted it first thing in 2014.

My dining room was also gray then, and I loved how the red played off those walls.

2011 was our first year in this house and we had been here for only a couple months… it was pretty pitiful, but I thought I should share anyhow.  It’s fun to see how things have changed over time.

I can’t wait to show you how everything looks this year!  In the meantime, be sure to check out Lindsay’s tour which kicks off Blogger Stylin Home Tours, and Jenny’s which starts the 12 Das of Christmas Tour of Homes!  So much eye candy!

The holiday home tours are always my favorite. I may as well just plan to stay in pajamas for the next week and browse homes.
