One of my favorite things about the blogging community is the friends I have made along the way. We come together with shared interests, often similar circumstances, and a shared love of, well, sharing! Because of blogger events and more, I’ve been able to connect with so many of my friends in real life, and most of the time my friends are exactly what I expected; and often a deeper friendship ensues that face to face meeting. I was fortunate to meet Danielle from Finding Silver Pennies at Haven in 2014, and I just loved her even more in person, and she is one of the most adorable women I know, and beautiful and soulful, too. I admire her for so many reasons- her eye for design, her talent for painting furniture, her generous spirit, and her passion for digging into who she is artistically. I love that she has started taking art classes to better her skills and also do something that’s just for her. This year, Danielle started a series called “Creativity Over Coffee” in which she interviews some of her creative friends- bloggers, artists, photographers, and more- just regular people who inspire her. Danielle believes that we all have creativity inside of us; we just have to tap into it and she is hoping this series will inspire others. I am honored that she has asked me to be her guest today at Creativity over Coffee.
In the interview, I am sharing everything from my creative journey, what inspires and moves me, to what my favorite curse word is. I hope you will head on over to read it!
While you are there, be sure to peruse Danielle’s blog and check out her charming seaside home tour. You truly need to see the entire home, but one of my favorite spaces is her recently updated guestroom.
Isn’t it lovely? The lace stencil, chippy furniture, and cozy bedding make it a restful and peaceful place for any guest. Or me. I am booking my room!
Anyhow, hop over to Finding Silver Pennies to read my conversation with Danielle or to invite yourself for a stay in her guest room.
And now, for real, I am actually headed out for a meeting with two other creative masterminds over coffee. I can’t even make this stuff up.
