Emmy and Snowball

Yesterday was the most beautiful day we’ve had and will have all Spring break.  The sun was shining, and the breeze was blowing perfectly.  Sawyer had soccer practice in the evening and Emmy and I decided to bring Snowball to walk her around the park and do a little puppy photo shoot.  I asked Emmy to be my assistant but she suggested that she be in the photos, too, and together these two girls were the perfect models.  I think Emmy & Snowball both had a blast having their photos taken, but I think the most fun was had by me.  Witnessing the bond they share is such a special thing.  And now I have it captured for eternity- I thought I’d share today, just to start your weekend with happy thoughts.

I’ll start with my personal favorite… I just love this shot.  And that pup’s nose.IMG_1700Emmy insisted on a silly face photo.  No idea where she gets her silly side from.  I’m over here like, “Can we just be serious for a moment?”IMG_1722We had walked Snowball a couple miles by this point and she was tired, thus the tongue hanging out of her mouth.IMG_1692These two just adore each other, and their personalities are a perfect match.IMG_1729I think Santa knew what he was doing when he brought this little girl to Emmy.IMG_1710They really bring each other so much joy.IMG_1717It will certainly be entertaining to watch these two grow up together.IMG_1714Hope you all have an awesome weekend and a fabulous Easter.  As much as I love all of our rescue dogs, let’s hope the Easter bunny doesn’t bring us any strays on the way in! 😉

Great photos! I think wearing the dog out is the best way to get good photos. Only way to get them to hold still!
