Each month, I get to share with my favorites from the #fearlesshome tag on instagram and each month it turns out that I have the best time scrolling through to choose…. because man, you guys bring it! There are so many amazing images to sift through with incredible colors, patterns, wall features… all doing the unexpected. In a world where gray, white, and greige prevail, it’s refreshing to see something different in homes. So once again, I had an incredibly hard time choosing, but I have narrowed down my fearless home September features to just 3 4 5 6. Make sure you also pop by to see my cohosts (Arielle, Britt, Jenna & Kimberly) today as they’re also sharing their picks from the month.
Liz Kamarul has killer style and I love that she does it with thrift score finds. This image was actually shared just a couple days ago, so not technically September, but it was too good for me to save until next month. From the vintage patterned sofa to the unique wall treatment, this girl “epitomizes fearless.”Nichol says she is about to change this space, but I am praying that chandelier is a keeper…. No matter what happens, I know the new design will knock it out of the park and even though it’s hard to fathom, possibly outshine the existing room.
Apparently stunning, unique and hugely proportioned chandeliers were calling my name this month, because I also had to show you this room from Our Gentle Madness. When the circumference of your chandelier is pretty much the same as the dining table it sits over, I call that a bold move. And I like it.
Tanya from House of Six interiors has one of my most favorite homes ever! This living room is cozy and lived in and layered…. and by layered I mean like 7 rugs layered. I am not sure if I can pull of 7 layered rugs. Challenge accepted. Maybe.
Whitney at Heavy Threads has the most a fabulously unique and handpainted pattern on her bedroom wall, paired with great textiles and art. I could sleep here.
Eva used mud cloth to cover her sofa seats, and I really love the mix of color, pattern, and other textiles that she used to pull this space together.
Are you inspired to get out there and layer those rugs, hang some giant lights, and mix some patterns? I hope so! Head on over to see what my cohosts shared as well.
