Friday Night Wine & Design and POWW Faves

Happy Saturday!  It is a rainy gray day here…. We had our community yard sale this morning.  Our stuff got wet and we made a whopping $47 dollars.  Emmy’s school has one in June, so better luck then!  After that it was off to T-ball, where we played a game in the rain which I thought was kind of fun!  Then it was lunch and off to pick up this dresser which I’ve already started!

So though today is rainy, we started the weekend off right with Wine & Design last night.  The theme was May flowers.

My mom left early, so I didn’t get a picture of her project.  She enlisted the help of two wee ones from our house and had them paint stepping stones for her garden.

I worked on some vintage fabric buntings to take with me to Lucketts next weekend.

Pin

Jen worked on embroidering some napkins for her etsy shop.

Pin

Tracy crocheted some adorable flowers that she is going to glue to a frame. I love that idea!!!  Emmy has a couple headbands Tracy made with similar flowers and they are adorable!

Pin

Sarah was working on a crocheted baby blanket. If you recognize this from the last Wine & Design, you are correct… but Sarah’s dog got ahold of it and she had to start over.

Pin

Renee worked on painting a vintage box to store remote controls… clever!

Pin

Andi worked on some adorable rings made from vintage jewelry. And the best part, I will be taking them to Lucketts with me to sell for her! I painted this little stand I found at Goodwill to display them in the Primitive & Proper booth.

Pin

Aren’t they so pretty?  I got to keep one… it’s a beautiful seafoam color!

It’s always a good time at Wine & Design!  Nothing like hanging with some crafty and awesome ladies, sipping wine, and chatting on a Friday night!
Now let’s get to those POWW faves!  In no particular order, here we go!

I love this sideboard from Rambling of an Ophelia. It’s such a fun piece!

And I am sure it is part the spin instructor in me that loves this table from Junk Vagabond! I love the colors, and love the lettering and bike!
Pin
This dresser from Before Meets After is so lovely. I love the contrast of the dark wood top and the blue body.
Pin
And these nightstands! Oh these nightstands! European Paint Finishes has an array of beautiful pieces, but these are my favorites so far. I love the style and color.
Pin
And I have to give an honorable mention to Our House of Joyful Noise for the beautiful work on and the touching story behind this dresser.

Ohyeah, AND, I got some super pretty vintage fabric (aka old bed sheet) at the thrift store today and I’m totally going to copy you and make some buntings. Maybe I am just a copy cat after all 😉

I’m not sure what Wine and Design is but I’m sipping wine right now reading your fab post. I love all that you’ve shared. The sign is fantastic! And the pretty crocheted flowers remind me of my Dear Grandmother. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday tomorrow, I enjoyed my “stop by” xxx tami

What a fabulous GNO! Sorry your garage sale sucked :(. Those are so hit and miss! Is it the same Lucketts MMS is talking about?! Are you in the same area? Probably a silly question….I wish I could go!!

    Good luck!

I really like that dresser . . . and all the things sitting on top of it! My goals for the next Wine & Design: bring a new project (!) and actually cook some food. Thanks for having me back again. Such fun!
