Before I get into my post, I wanted to let you know that the awesome “I Heart Goats” shirt you saw Andi wearing on Monday’s post is now available in her shop! Here is a picture to refresh your memory…
These awesome shirts are available in a variety of colors, and both men’s and women’s sizes. Show the world your love of goats and order today! ๐
I was fortunate enough to have Gwen visit me a couple weeks ago as you may recall. We were also able to hang out with Jill and Andi and I owe some serious thank you’s to these lovely ladies! Gwen brought me such awesome goodies as two bottles of wine (she knows the way to my heart!), chocolate, Star Wars madlibs for Sawyer, and dollhouse furniture for Emmy. I also got a blinged out tape measure that I carry with me now, and she made these adorable pouches for me, Andi, and Jill. Love the colors! She is a very talented seamstress!
Jill made us all these adorable aqua caddies! And it just so happened that day that Emmy gave me a plant form school for mother’s day which is a perfect fit…
Andi gave the other girls rings and bobby pins form her shop! (I did not choose any because I am lucky enough to already have an awesome ring, set of bobby pins, and necklace from her shop!!)
What awesome and thoughtful and creative girlfriends I have!
While I am saying thank you’s I want to also extend a HUGE thank you to Beckie at Infarrantly Creative. I was one of the VERY lucky winners in her command max paint sprayer giveaway!!!!!! It arrived just last week and I can’t wait to try it on something!!!! YAY! Here is what I won…
And here are the amazing projects Beckie has completed using it…
Seriously So excited to try it out!!! Thank you so much, Beckie!
I had already started this project before my sprayer arrived….
This dresser was another garage sale find when I was with Gwen. What did I tell you? The girl is my charm. Come back to me, Gwen! We have garage sales to hit this weekend! Anyhow, here it is before- sort of plain, but a nice petite size….
I sanded it, filled some marks with wood filler, and painted it with two coats of surf blue, distressed it and went over it with minwax golden oak stain. Then came the last steps- hardware! I really had no idea what I was going to use for knobs…. I went through everything I had and didn’t have 10 of anything that I thought would work. Then I remembered these Anthropologie knobs I bought maybe 4 years ago on sale. I had never found the right piece for them… but finally, they have a home on this dresser! Here it is now…
So happy to have finally found a dresser for those sad and lonely knobs! ๐
