Maybe it’s the fact that Chris and I, both of our sets of parents, and all of our kids (finally- it took Sawyer a while!) are avid readers, but I think that book related gifts are awesomely useful and I think we all know plenty of readers in our lives. After all, you are here, reading this blog right now. 😉 I personally love all of the gear and wear that proclaims to the world that this girl loves books, and it’s a habit that I proudly support. As a mother and English major, nothing warms my heart more than when I see my kids reading, or when they ask me for books or book-related items. Today I have rounded up several items for the book lover in your life in this gift guide: the reader. (This blog uses affiliate links.)
I had SOOOO much fun putting this list together and love each item so much! I hope you find something for the book nerd in your life. I am going to start in the top left corner and work my way clockwise around in the links below.
Plaid fleece blanket– I was lucky enough to score an amazing fleece plaid blanket from Pendleton last week at Tuesday Morning with a gift card, and I searched high and low and couldn’t find it online anywhere for you. I did find this cutie from L.L. Bean which is another amazing outdoor brand I’ve trusted for years. I spent this past weekend snuggled under my fleece blanket finishing my latest book!
The Foxed Box– What reader wouldn’t love a fun book subscription? The Foxed Box is a personalized book subscription, so you can select the style of books your book nerd will love and the Foxed Box will take care of the rest. They’ve got a holiday gift shop set up with lots of gift giving needs and gift cards.
Library tote– Every good library-lovin’ reader like me needs a tote to carry books to and from the library. My kids and I go every few weeks to get new books for them, and a bag is necessary. This one is especially cute, too.
Folio mantra bookmarks– These are adorable and you can get them in sets of three or even sets of nine, so you can buy a bunch to give them to teachers, paired with a gift card to a book shop.
Swoop bookends– Bookends that are heavy enough to actually keep the books in place can be hard to find. These solid bookends have a heavy weight and modern shape that will make them perfect for any book lover’s shelves.
My Weekend is All Booked mug– A weekend to just cozy up under a blanket with a good book and a cup of tea is any book lover’s fantasy weekend. Well, at least it is mine! This would be the perfect mug to drink from.
Banned books socks– I am always all about fun socks, and I love socks that are a sort of mismatched pair. When I worked at J. Crew a couple of years ago we had some mismatched pairs and they always sold so well. These socks feature one sock showing the books, and the other with the banned titles crossed out.
Bookmarks are for Quitters tee– This shirt makes me laugh! I am all about motivational sayings on shirts, and this one is funny and motivational. I also love the gray and white classic color scheme.
The Book Was Better decal– We all know it’s true. Now everyone who looks at your book lover’s laptop will know, too. This decal is just a fun little stocking stuffer idea!
Now that this gift guide is complete, I am in the mood to crawl under the covers and start a new book. How about you?
