Gifts for the Coffee Lover from Uncommon Goods

Raise your hand if this Monday morning has you needing coffee!  I’ve got two hands waving over here… it’s bitterly windy and cold and staying at home with a hot cup of joe sounds pretty good to me right now. I started drinking coffee when I was in college; at the time, that meant vanilla or caramel lattes. As I grew older, I realized I didn’t need those extra calories and I moved to flavored coffees with milk and a sweetener.  Fast forward to now, and after a couple of rounds of Whole 30, I prefer my coffee straight up black.  I still enjoy fun flavors, but I like it freshly brewed out of my french press and I love nothing more than sipping it in the comfort of my own home as I start the day.  Today I’ve got some great gifts for the coffee lover from Uncommon Goods, whether they prefer it flavored and sweet or jet black like me. I’ve tried to choose items that will appeal to all budgets as well.  (This post is sponsored by Uncommon Goods but all opinions are my own.  I’ve been a fan of their online store for a long time!)

I love shopping at Uncommon Goods for gifts because just as their name suggests, they have uncommon items, unique and special pieces.  Their shop strives to be socially responsible and environmentally friendly, as well as a rewarding place to work.  I started shopping at Uncommon Goods years ago when searching for handmade items to give as gifts as I love supporting the makers and artists.  I can sympathize with their efforts and when possible, I choose to support them.  Uncommon Goods also features many green-minded items, and again, when possible, I always choose items that will not leave as heavy of an imprint on the earth.  These are the reasons that I am a supporter, but you can read more about their company here.

(If you’re looking for more more gift ideas, also check out Uncommon Good’s own: Gifts for Men here, Gifts for Women here, Gifts for Mom here, Gifts for Dad here, Christmas Gifts for Anyone here)
Today I want to share with you some of my personal favorites for the coffee lover in your life.
1. Make A Wish Measuring Spoon Set– I’ve been on the search for a coffee scoop that I can leave on my counter for easy access.  Currently I used 3 heaping tablespoons in my press and I would love to use these heart measuring spoons; and my coffee is in fact “a heap of happiness!”
2. Cocktail Jelly Set– These jellies are inspired by flavorful cocktails, because coffee hour is just too early for an actual drink. 😉  I love to eat greek yogurt with jelly in the morning and these sound amazing.
3. Whale Pitcher– This guy is currently on major sale, and would make a great cream pitcher for entertaining, but could also be used to water plants, or in our house, fill the dog’s water bowl.
4. Java Coffee Infused Skin Care Body Collection- Ask any coffee lover, and they will probably tell you they love the rich aroma as well as the taste and comfort. This set is full of natural coffee scented skin care that will help wake you up in the shower each morning.
5. Field Guide to North American Bird Feathers– many of us coffee lovers are homebodies so gifts for the home are always good, too. This print is lovely and comes in all shades of coffee colors, and if your coffee lover is like me, they enjoy watching the birds (or chickens!) out their window.
6. i eight sum pi plates– We are math nerds in our house…. all of us.  I know we’d love to eat our sandwiches or desserts on these dishes! (I’m pretty out of practice, so I could use the inspiration, too!)
7. Desert Mug Tree– I love the colors in this handmade set.  The ombre inspired desert palette would look right at home on my earthy styled kitchen shelves.
8. Wooden Travel Mug– This is the prettiest little travel mug I have ever seen.  It’s handmade in Indiana and uses local trees for the layers of veneer. It’s also lined with stainless steel so you don’t have to worry that it won’t do its job of keeping coffee hot.
9. Morning, Noon & Night Coffee– This trio has coffee for all times of the day!  Sometimes you just need that afternoon pick me up, and sometimes at night you just need a hot cuppa comfort without the caffeine.
10. Barrel-Aged Vermont Maple Syrup– Growing up in New England with easy access to great natural syrup, I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to it. This unique version is aged in rum and bourbon barrels… YUM!
11. Nesting Stoneware Mixing Bowls– Oh my gosh, these are so pretty!  I love handmade pottery glazed in aquas and blues and I’d love mixing up my waffles, muffins, or frittatas in these handmade beauties!
12. Keyboard Waffle Iron– We are huge fans of homemade waffles in our house, and this gadget makes that breakfast treat all the more fun!  A perfect gift for the computer geek, too!
13. Coffee Press– This press is created with a special clay that helps the rich flavor.  I love my coffee from a press, but this makes it even better!  And it’s easy on the eyes, too.
Hopefully this has give you some fun and unique gifts for the coffee lover from Uncommon Goods for the people on your shopping list.  Have you started your shopping this year?  I’m happy to say that I am ahead of the game this time around… a first for me!  Happy shopping, and happy Monday morning coffee drinking!

I could use some coffee in my beauty products 😉 And I just can’t drink my coffee black like you. I still need a little sugar and milk.

My son always says that he wants a waffle maker and that keyboard one is too cool. Maybe I’ll make his waffle loving dreams come true. He really wanted a Texas shaped waffle maker, but I think he’ll appreciate this too! 😉

So many wonderful gifts for everybody. I was looking at some of what they have last night. Love set of red cardinals for very best friend and I wouldn’t mind a set either for winter and holiday decorating, (among many other goodies). So much to pick from, very hard to decide.

    Have spectacular Thanksgiving.
