Happy Tuesday! I don’t know about you, but I have Christmas on the brain here. Emmy and I spent much of this weekend working on some holiday crafts and playing Christmas tunes. Too soon? Eh, maybe, but at least I have held off on decorating for the most part; however, the week is still young and my sparkling decorations are calling to me from their basement bins. One thing I do like to do before I haul out all of the decorations is give my house a good thorough cleaning. After all, I don’t want to place my inherited vintage carolers on top of dust and dog fur, do I? Eeew. I don’t talk about cleaning much here, but it’s not because I don’t do it…. of course I do! It’s a fact of life in running a household. With so much awareness these days of toxins in products, I’ve made it a priority to clean with only natural cleaning products, minus the occasional bleach in the bathtub or toilet. (Sometimes, you just need that!) I’ve used natural and affordable products now for several years, and the industry has really grown with so many new options and scents available. Last week I cleaned my house in preparation for guests, and was thrilled to use Mrs. Meyer’s Peppermint all-purpose spray on most of my surfaces. Not only does it smell like a freshly opened box of candy canes, but it got me in the merry mood! I ordered mine from Grove Collaborative, a fantastic online resource for all of your healthy home needs. I’ve been using their online shop for a year and am excited for the chance to partner with them as an affiliate since it’s a brand I believe in.
Currently, with your first $20 purchase from Grove, you can grab a free set containing and soap, multi-surface cleaner, dish soap, and a fir green dish towel. Don’t worry; if peppermint is not your thing as it is mine, other holiday scents like Iowa Pine and Orange Clove are also available. (You can click here to claim the offer shown below).
Returning customers can currently grab a free set of walnut scrubber sponges. I’ve been using something similar in my own dishwashing for the last year and will never go back to the old yellow and green ones I used to buy.
Aside from using it in my own home, I am a huge fan of consumable products as hostess or Christmas gifts. Because I feel like it’s a constant battle with “stuff” in my own home, I love to give people things that they can use such as candles, edibles, beauty products, and cleaning products (although I probably would refrain from gifting someone toilet bowl cleaner- just a thought. đŸ˜‰ ). As a side note, we’re also big on “experience” gifts and love to take our kids to do things, or give gift cards to special places.
This Mrs Meyer’s holiday set would make an awesome hostess gift… after all, we all clean and what hostess wouldn’t love to clean her post-party home with something fresh and new! As the set contains the dish soap, multi surface cleaner, hand soap and kitchen towel, you could easily get a little caddy or tote basket to place it. Add some candy canes for a fun seasonal touch and edible treat! On its own, the packaging is eye catching and lovely, but it’s always fun to add your own spin.

I’ve been using Grove Collaborative for a little over a year, and they also offer some products you really can’t find anywhere else. They produce a soy candle in eucalyptus & mint that has become my absolute favorite candle; I love it even more so than the famous Volcano candle we all know and love! It has such a fresh and clean scent! They also carry a large line of essential oils, vitamins, baby care products, many more cleaning supplies, and more. With your VIP membership, shipping is free, too!
With your first $20 purchase you will get your Mrs. Meyer’s products and dish towel set (valued over $30), as well as free shipping, and a free VIP membership trial. I hope you will give it a try here and take advantage of this awesome freebie!
Thank you to Grove Collaborative for providing me with the Mrs. Meyer’s holiday cleaning set for this post! All opinions are my own!
