Hooray for Thrift Score Thursday! If you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is. We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.
Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it! And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!
Each week Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For A Designer at Home, Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios, and once monthly a guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
So once again I found something I wanted to share, brought it to Sweet Clover for our sale this weekend, and forgot to take a photo. Luckily I found some other items I also love! At one of my favorite shops I found these little blue and white “bowls” with windmills and sailboats on them in a dutch style. I loved the colors, the sailboats, and even contemplated keeping them for myself as planters. But that would basically be like setting up a beautiful graveyard, so I decided to bring them to Sweet Clover and we staged them as bowls on a dining table.
Aren’t they fun? Each one has a sailboat on one side and a windmill on the other.
Now onto my features. I was salivating all over my Mac as I perused all of the #thriftscorethursday tags. I was afraid it was going to short circuit, there was so much drool! I chose some favorites that felt very Spring/Summery to me and also were staged beautifully.
Sara posted this lovely mantle with thrifted artwork. I love everything about it from the bottles to the daisies to the vintage books and sconces! You can find Sara on instagram here.
Ashley at A Life With Friends showed off her stunning and simple modern bedroom with a blanket she thrifted. Ashley herself is also so adorable. Check out her awesome feed! You can find Ashley on instagram here.
Triste has a knack for finding fantastic boho style pieces. I mean…. this rattan chair speaks for itself, am I right? You can find Tristie on instagram here.
A recent account I started following is Melissa Brandman and I am pretty much obsessed with her style. How fun are these vintage juggling pins? They look pretty lined up like that, but they would also look amazing twirling in the air as I demonstrate my juggling talents. #justkidding

I’m also a big fan of Maree who owns January Jackson Goods, a killer etsy shop I may go broke in. This vintage wall hanging is so fabulous and would look perfect in a nursery.

Vintage Parlor Originals had several finds I was drooling over, but this collection of macrame and seashell hangings caught my eye!You can find Vintage Parlor Originals on instagram here.
And finally, Britt’s style constantly blows me away, and this vignette caught my eye. Her thrifted art ties everything together perfectly. You can find Britt on instagram here.
