Ice, Ice Baby…. Too Cold, Too Cold!

And now you all have Vanilla Ice in your head.  You can thank me later.
I told you last week about how I went with my kids, mom, dad, and my big brother Dana to see “We Froze the Grinch” at the National Harbor.  I finally have some pictures from my dad I wanted to share.  Let me start by saying, he took all these photos and is am amazing photographer.  These aren’t his best as the lighting was pretty poor in the dome, but he always jokes with me about accreditation when I use his photos. 🙂  So there you go, Dad.
Here I am with the kiddos, all of us sporting our awesome big blue parkas they make you wear since it is FA-reezing in there!

And some amazing shots of the exhibit…

There was also an amazing nativity carved out of ice…

But the best part?  There was a giant ice slide!  You can see the kids enjoyed it…

BUT I LOVED IT!!!  Look at these photos- is this a giant kid or what?

Oh my gosh! How fun is that! If only we had that here in Utah. We are well into January and Faith asks me to tell her a Grinch story every night. It is a story about when he comes over to play with her and what they do – only it has to be different every night. And honestly – I have run out of Grinch stories. Your little family is soo cute!

I love that you went down that slide 🙂 Even though I’m only (ehhemm 42) I would still do that. My kids are grown now (21 & 19) but they tell me one of their favorite things was that I participated in everything – to a good mama!
