I had a fun makeover planned to share today, but a huge storm took out our power last night, and I just wasn’t able to get it together for you. And I am headed out the door in 15 minutes Atlanta Bound for Haven, with a stop in Charlotte tonight to visit friends and family. But I had to at least pop on here and say goodbye until next week; and I couldn’t leave you without some fun pictures, so I thought I’d share the behind the scenes life stuff that has been going on lately…. (all photos taken from my phone, so not the best quality!)
Fun with sparklers….
Sarah and I have started working on our Sweet Clover office…
My kids and I wore red white and blue for the 4th. Chris wore green and gray, so he was demoted to photographer.
I hit the flea with flanked by Sarah’s! Sarah the Thriftress, and Sarah Dorsey.
I found some goodies…
A couple weeks ago I found the antique soldier and added it to Sawyer’s little gallery wall.
Emmy and her friend enjoyed using the new picnic table.
Sarah and I worked on a Sweet Clover flower for the upcoming Sophie and Madigan’s Butterfly Gala (benefiting the playground being built in honor of my neighbor’s daughters who passed away a year and a half ago in a house fire). This is the backside.
I am trying to convince Chris that we need to get Sawyer a dog of his own for his birthday. Not sure it will actually happen, but I thought I would share this text with you. Chris took a new job recently with Chipotle and asked me to help him write a short bio- he gave me the jumping off point. Here’s my message back to him.. 😉
And lastly, I had a date with this handsome dude last night. This ice cream was so big and he just couldn’t finish after housing a grilled cheese from his favorite restaurant, our town’s local diner…. Mom to the rescue on that one. 😉
And now, off to Haven I go! Hope to see you there!
