Little Gray Demi-Lune

I am busy working on my hallway this week, inhaling primer fumes, priming and painting trim, painting walls, a door, jamming to Of Monsters and Men, and trying to have myself a grand time!  I almost didn’t even write a post for you today, but I decided to give you a short and sweet post.

I found this table:

I painted it (in my kitchen, which is heinous so I don’t care about it) with two coats of Paris Gray chalk paint.
I used a warm wet rag to distress the edges.  I used this technique because I was inside and didn’t want dust everywhere, and i love the natural look it produces.
Finally, I waxed it and set it up to take some pictures for you!

And now, I must really get back to painting that trim.  Happy Tuesday!

I love it! Thanks for the “sanding” with a wet rag tip.

Cuteness! Your kitchen can’t be too bad since I spy some stainless steel in the background! I too would do anything to distract me from painting trim, it’s quite possibly one of the worst, tedious, never-ending jobs BUT when it’s all done it’s pure love.

Love that little table! I had a little kitchen painting session myself last weekend — the weather just wouldn’t cooperate. 🙂

I love the table! The color and distressing are perfect! I love that you can distress that way with ASCP. I often forget about it, but it really does give such a natural, worn look! Beautiful job, Cassie!

You make it all look so easy! I *must* try some chalk paint at some point in the near future. Such a cute little table that could fit in just about anywhere in my house!

Hang in there with painting the trim – such a tedious process, but I know it will be worth it in the end!

The table is gorgeous! I’m a kitchen painter too. I’m hoping that if there is enough paint on the floor that the truly ugly lino will be covered up C:

How did you have time to even post that? Your hall sounds like a big time consuming project. Your little table is super cute and you distress so good – natural looking! 🙂

Can we talk about trim painting? We recently painted the trim in our living room, dining room and master bedroom…and it is my least favorite painting activity. And it was super time consuming! Hope its going quick for you!

And I love the fact that you painted that table in your kitchen. Breakfast and painting–one stop shop.
