I am not going to sugar coat it…. day 2 was reeeeeeealllly slllooooooow! And it rained for about 30 minutes. But I still had fun because so many wonderful friends visited!
Sharon came by again with a different friend than yesterday! They really soaked it all in today and took their time shopping. Thanks again, Sharon, for everything!
Andi also came by today, and I can’t believe I didn’t get a picture with her! I see her so regularly now that I didn’t even think of it. π I also have a little project to share tomorrow that Andi and I collaborated on. I may have also forgotten to get a picture with her because I was too busy singing Bieber songs with her 20 month old.
Sarah, aka The Thriftress, also came by today with her family. Sarah and I go way back in blogging terms, and I had the pleasure to meet her in March at the local bloggers brunch. She is such a sweet heart! And her children are adorable! And her husband Steve is pretty darn funny, too. Not funny in a make you laugh way, but funny in a doesn’t understand any wreaths made of paper way. π And for the record, he’s actually funny, too!
Here is a photo of me and Sarah that Steve took….
After the rain came and went, a lovely surprised walked into my booth! I was able to meet Jami of Freckled Laundry! That was so exciting! I had no idea she was even coming. For those of you that don’t know, Jami and I blog together over at The DIY Club. She is so sweet, and so beautiful, and I want her hair. I love her hair. See? Great hair.
So even though it wasn’t a great day for sales, it was a great day for friends! And now Emily and I will actually have some dressers on the website again, which is good news for our DC clients!
I also want to mention that our booth was right next to Wild Rose & Co, and those gals are just the sweetest! We could not have beeb put next to nicer vendors. I knew we were going to be pals when they started both days with mimosas! Today Lynette, the shop owner, had on the most adorable shirt!!! I am heading there Saturday to purchase one from her shop. Want to see?
It’s the one on the left. Isn’t it the cutest? It is so me! I had to know where she got it and was thrilled to find out she carried them and I could get one, too! Yay!
All in all, the weekend was wonderful- the weather was great for the most part, and the smiling faces were plentiful! Hope you all enjoyed a beautiful weekend as well!
