Master Bedroom Gallery Wall

Happy Friday!  Yahoo, the weekend is almost here!  Do you have any fun plans?  I do!  My brother in law and his awesome fiancee arrived last night.  Chris is headed out to golf with his little brother and Jill and I are headed out to shop and dream about the house they just went under contract with! 🙂  Then tonight we are headed to family fun night at the neighbors, where it’s Irish theme night!  I am bringing the Irish nachos I made for it last year, as well as these fun leprechaun hat smores for the kids.   Tomorrow we head to Sawyer’s basketball game, then bowling and game night…. TGIF, people!

Yesterday morning, Chris was out of town and Sawyer woke at 6:30 and snuggled with me.  He loves having me take a picture of the two of us, so when we came downstairs for breakfast he begged me to take a picture.  Having read the Huffington Post article about moms being in the picture, I try to oblige my kids and let them take my picture,  no matter what I look like at the moment.  This picture proves that.  Ha ha.

And that, my friends, was your dose of random today.  I am sure you are at peace now that you know what I look like first thing in the morning.  I am just glad I didn’t have any drool dried to my face.

So….
a few weeks ago I shared some art that was going on my bedroom gallery wall.  It was/is being collected.  (I still need a long narrow piece for the right side), but I wanted to share what it looks like today.  I was fortunate enough to win a giveaway from Bre at Rooms for Rent.  I was so excited to win because I knew it would be perfect on the gallery wall!  Here is the picture she shared on her blog…
Pin

And now here it is as part of my gallery wall…

Pin

Love the finish she gave it!  It is perfect!

Pin

I love these vintage guys, too!

Pin

And just to give you perspective on where this wall sits in the master bedroom….  (Sorry, lame phone picture)

Pin

So I am on the hunt for something long and thin to go to the right of the chalkboard and whale, but I will wait until I find just the right piece!

Have an awesome weekend, guys! It’s March…. Spring should be here anytime, right Phil?

I have to take more pictures too with my kids. Love your morning photo. It looks way better than my fatbooth photo I posted on my blog a while ago, haha.

Looks great! I am shamefully lacking in the photographs department. If I manage to take photographs of my children, or even have a professional do it, I never frame them and hang them. Sad, but true. It is one area of my decor life that is severely lacking. Thanks for the inspiration to not only hang art work, but be mindful of the photographs of my children.

OHH Cassie it looks awesome!!! It fits so perfect in the space 🙂 And I love the paint color of your master! SO cool!! Thanks for the feature.. I might snag a photo so my readers can see how awesome your gallery wall is coming out! One this I put in our master that I LOVE, is I bought house numbers representing the day we were married (8.5.05) You could do something like vertical, if you felt it would go. But I totally know how it goes with gallery walls, it’s a hunt, and takes time until it’s just right 🙂 Beautiful! ~Bre

I’ve been on the hunt for something long and thin most of my life. I’ve given up on the long, but I’d like to die thin.

The scale of that new sign is perfect for your wall. Totally digging the fact that you are letting this wall evolve as you find the right pieces for it! Something long and narrow and interesting is sure to find you!

Perhaps you could paint a large baseboard in horizontal stripes and make it look weathered.
