Mes Meubles Preferes de POWW (My Poww Faves); And a Way to Help Alabama

That title should give you a little hint about my favorites this week… all about the French pieces!!!  There were so many wonderful pieces this week, but there were several French styled pieces that stood out in my mind.

This set from A Brush of Whimsy left me week in the knees! Nicely done, Kim!

Emily from Misadventures of a Furniture Fairy painted a beautiful aqua French dresser. Aqua gets me every time!

This beautiful triple French dresser from Little Place Called Home had my heart racing, it was just so beautiful! I literally gasped when I saw it.

And finally, I looooove this dresser from An Inch of Gray. It looks very similar to this crowd-pleasin’
dresser! And gray happens to be my favorite decorating color (at least right now!).

Aren’t they all beautiful??  And don’t they make you wish you spoke fluent French?  Oh, j’espere!  C’est romantique!

Also, on another note, the very talented and sweet Kelli from Restore Interiors is hosting an online auction to “Restore Alabama” in light of the recent tornadoes and the devastation they caused.  I have seen firsthand heartache and loss caused by natural disaster, and my heart goes out to all those who have lost.  Kelli has come up with a fun way for us to help!  You can donate an item to be auctioned to raise money going towards tornado relief.  I know I will be coming up with something, and I hope you will, too.  Let’s pull together as a country and as a people… “one nation, under God….”

I will take them all please. I used to be fluent in French. Took it for 5 years while living in England…pretty much all gone now 🙁
