My Nightstands!

Sorry for two posts in one day, but the tea party was supposed to be for yesterday.  And also, I want to mention that with the blogger issues, I have postponed my Friday guest to Monday as I wanted to make sure you guys were around to read her awesome post!  It’s really good, so come back Monday for that!

Anyhow, I had been searching a bit for matching more glamorous nightstands for a while, and my search ended last week, when I found the perfect pair.

The finish was nice enough, but not what I wanted.  I purchased a quart of Ben Moore’s Golden Delicious in a semigloss enamel.  I also had two pieces of mirror cut for the table top insets.  The color was based off of the Go & Do print I have on my nighstand.  It came from Kantan Designs on Etsy.  Anyhow, here is the after, complete with the Urban Outfitters Zigzag bedding.

I am loving how summery and fresh it looks right now!  In the fall/winter, I plan to cool ir back down by putting our white duvet cover back on.
After I get through Lucketts next weekend, and the busy week that follows, I will be working on my headboard.  Stay tuned for that!

Very cool! I still love my Go and Do poster. The glass was a great idea for protecting the surface.

I love them! Totally worth the wait. I’m inspired to paint my free end table a bright color, but I’m not sure. Maybe a tangerine-ish color.

And, please- don’t apologize for two posts in one day. That’s like the best thing ever!
