Nautical Spring Tablescape (and West Elm or Target Giveaway from Coupons.com)

Happy Monday!  I don’t know about where you live, but it certainly felt like Spring here this pas weekend.  I am over the winter, and ready for Spring’s official arrival, and have been getting ready around the house.  Today, along with 14 other amazing DIY and design bloggers, I am sharing some Spring home inspiration brought to you by Coupons.com;  Coupons.com is also generously giving one lucky reader a $150 gift card to West Elm or Target!

Pin

Did you know that Coupons.com has West Elm coupon codes?  West Elm is one of my very favorite stores for home decor so this was a nice surprise to me!  You can also sign up on coupons.com
to get notifications of new West Elm deals!
I ordered a few of their amazing recycled glass jugs in turquoise as well as a clear acrylic tray to use as part of a Spring ocean inspired tablescape.  This time of year I always find myself introducing more color (and I find year after year aqua is the frontrunner, most likely due to dreaming of the beach and warmer weather!) into my home.  I also love to bring in nature in the form of fresh flowers.  I knew the aqua glass jugs would be perfect filled with Spring flowers in the center of the table.  I planned to use my Ikea dishes paired with West Elm bowls I already owned,  awesome fish plates I thrifted, driftwood, and vintage glassware I thrifted.
Here is what I put together….

Pin

In the center of the table I placed the clear acrylic tray, and added two different sizes of the turquoise recycled glass jugs, filled with pink tulips (I let Emmy choose the flowers).  I also added a similar glass vase I had on hand that I had found at a shrift shop.  To give the tray some neutral tones, I added in some driftwood I already had.

Each place is set with an Ikea plate, a fish plate, silverware and an aqua napkin, blue glass goblet, and a West Elm bowl; it’s an eclectic mix but unified by its ocean shades.
Pin

I love the way these glasses catch the light.

Pin

Everything looks so happy and Spring like to me…. hard to imagine it was snowing when I took these pictures last week!

Pin

I also love how well the tablescape plays off the colors of my nautical gallery wall.

Aqua and pink tulips….. feels like Spring in my house!  Now if only mother nature would get the memo.
