New Business Cards and a Giveaway from Moo…. and Some Weekend Peeks

Happy Monday!!!  I have a little giveaway for you today and also some new business cards to show you, but before I do I wanted to share a couple snippets from our weekend.

Sawyer had his first ever basketball game.  It was AWESOME!  He was the shortest kid on the court, and the cutest, if you ask me.  See the little guy- that’s my boy!

I love this picture because it captures just how much fun he was having.

And I love this one because Chris and I almost peed our pants laughing at Sawyer’s dribble.. He is short anyhow, and then he keeps that ball LOW to the ground.  It’s like a 3″ dribble.  No one’s gonna be able to steal that ball because they’d have to get on the floor to do it!

That was Saturday morning.  After that I worked on cleaning up the garage a bit, and cleaning in the basement.  I have been in that new year purge/organization mode and spent last week organizing closets, and cleaning out!  I already took a carload to Goodwill Friday, and will be making another trip this week.  It always feels so good…. wiping the slate clean!  It’s much easier to start a new year and make plans if things around you are organized and clean.  And it always spurs a project…. always!

That being said, Sunday, I began a project.  I used paint and items I had on hand, and just need a couple minor things and then will be able to share.  But for now, here’s a little sneak peek….. (and if you follow me on instagram you know what I am up to!)

Now let’s check out the new business cards I was telling you about!  Some of you know I have a business with my partner Sarah, called Persephone.  We sell our vintage upcycled goods at the Stylish Patina Barn in Frederick, MD.  We’ve worked together for just about a year now, and up til now, we did not have business cards.  Shame on us!!!  Recently, Moo contacted me to see if I would like to try out some of their business cards.  I was thrilled since we really needed some!

Working with Moo.com is really simple.  You can upload your own design, and then add your own text as well.  I am not that savvy when it comes to the technological sides of most things, and even I can use it.  That’s a user-fiendly website for you!  Here is a look at our new cards!

They are printed on quality glossy cardstock.  As you can see I added my graphic and centered it, and then I added our tagline below it…. “Where Vintage & Awesome Collide”.  Yep, that’s us!

I was also given the chance to giveaway 3 sets of 100 classic business cards from Moo.com!  I know that many of my readers have their own businesses and etsy shops, so of course I took Moo up on that offer since I thought they would be useful and appreciated.

Here’s how to enter….

Leave me a comment letting me know what you would use your business cards for!

That’s all there is to it!  The giveaway will close Saturday, January 12 at midnight EST.  I will use random.org to pick the winner next Sunday.   I will email the winner, so make sure your ID is linked to an email, or that you leave me an email address in your comment.

Best of luck!

Cassie, I had to post because your pictures of Sawyer were so cute! My James had his first bball game this weekend and he too is the smallest kids on the court. I was so worried that he’d feel the height disadvantage when the games started but he had a blast. Glad Sawyer did too! Your new business cards look great. My current ones have the wrong email address – it’d be great be able to update that!
