Hey guys! Tomorrow I promise you some updates around the house… I have been a total slacker in that department as I have been so busy in all other departments lately. I’m finally feeling that second trimester energy kick in and I am going to enjoy it will it lasts. However, today I want to take the time to share with you my November Sweet Clover Sale space. I brought in a couple of new pieces (one that I can’t even believe I’m parting with!), and restyled it a bit. I’m also so inspired by the other vendors and their vintage finds. Last month I bought a fantastic plaid blanket in red and blue and it inspired my Christmas porch that I started working on yesterday… I had free time and couldn’t help myself!
Enough rambling though, let’s check out this space!
Do you see it? The piece I can’t believe I am selling? It’s the turquoise Asian style dresser that has floated around my home from bedroom to living room to dining room. I was hoping to move it into Emmy’s room as I still adore it, but she wasn’t having it. It has served us well, but now it can brighten up someone else’s home.
On top of it I placed a vintage saddle blanket in red, and a vintage sled. I always love dining sideboards and tables with vintage sleds as the centerpiece this time of year.
Behind it in the photo above you can see a peek of the vintage Arctic animals poster I found that hasn’t gone to a new home. If it doesn’t find a new home at this sale, I may have a home for it in baby boy’s room.
As I mentioned last week, I was bringing in this navy vintage art deco dresser as well. It’s such a masculine piece with great lines and I hope it finds its new home!
The nightstands next to it are perfect for a child’s room! I love that wood one…. the legs! I brought in these fantastic old windows that are ready to hang on the wall. They’ve got truly unique old original hardware on them.
Another new piece this month is an old antique trunk. It’s wood but years ago was painted in a teal metallic finish and I love that look! Inside it is painted a vibrant green and has the name of the once owner inside.
Last weekend Emmy and I spent some time making signs out of old picket fences. Here are a couple that I made…. Sawyer loves the Reindeer Crossing sign.
My space is right next to the stairwell, so I was able to take a little aerial shot. I really pack a lot into my little space, but my theory is you can’t sell it if it isn’t there!
If you are local to the DC/Maryland area, we’d love to see you this weekend at Sweet Clover. You can follow along on their facebook page for more photos from other vendors and other information as well.
