Ok, this will be a quick post and I will be back later today with POWW link party, but as many of you know, our home goes up for sale today.  I was doing a search and found the listing from when we bought our house and it has a picture of the exterior… get ready to cringe…
MLS AA6286908 in CARROLLTON MANOR

And to refresh your memory, here it is now….

You can see we added a garden to the left, pulled out the garden on the right a bit, paint paint painted it, and changed out the old ugly and too small light fixture.  it was all inexpensive small changes, but when I saw the old listing, I was so proud of the small changes we had made and had to share!

Whoa!! What a difference you have made! In the first pic, you can see what initially drew you in. It was a good strong looking house, just a bit outdated! Now, she is modern and fabulous thanks to you guys!!!! I love the all white exterior and the different textures (brick and siding) the black shutters, and of course the yellow door! 🙂 So awesome! Best of luck on your first day “for sale”!! 🙂

I love the chairs with plants on either side of the door… a take on ‘urns’ on either side of the front door! The new garden is lovely – best of luck to you as your house goes on the market! Michelle

Your makeover is a success! 🙂 I can see the huge difference between the before and after pictures. The house looked very plain in the first picture, but the renovation made it look a lot better. The light fixture you put is very nice. Why not put it on both sides of the door?
