I am always really excited when I find out someone else in the area is a blogger… we’re quite a little community, aren’t we?  But finding out another blogger lives a stones throw from you and hits the same amazing shops and restaurants, and knows your favorite stomping grounds…. well that is really exciting!

I recently “met” Abigail through instagram and ironically had voted for her small cool home on Apartment Therapy when I saw how fabulous it was AND that it was in Frederick, MD.  I had to support my local people!

abigail1PinIsn’t her bedroom gorgeous?  Do you see that artwork above her bed?  Abigail painted that.  She’s an exception artist and has an etsy shop where she sells her original pieces.

I love the colors in this one…

And this skull painting… I am not a skull girl, but I totally dig it.abigail3PinAbigail also paints furniture for a local shop, Repurposed & Refined.  And Repurposed & Refined actually has a space at Sweet Clover, as well.

You can find Abigail on instagram, on etsy, or of course on her blog where she shares her DIY adventures, local dives, and more!

That bedroom really reminds me of some of your spaces, Cassie. Lovely and moody. Two peas in a pod.

Beautiful abstracts!! I’ve always wanted to attempt one, but I’ve never painted anything except furniture which I don’t think counts in this area!!

i am just not that skilled wither- i can paint furniture, but my artistic skills leave something to be desired. unless you set the bar really low, then i am pretty average.
