Please Excuse Me While I Force You to Look at Pictures of My Kids in the Ocean

Happy Thursday!  Today is our last day at Seabrook, and although it has been fun, I think we will be ready to return to a more normal schedule.  As solo parent here, I have broken all the rules… Want to stay up til 11 to watch a movie?  Sure.  Want to get a new toy?  OK!  Want to have Trix for breakfast?  Of course! (I mean, Trix are for kids!) But hey, it is vacation!

Yesterday we spent the morning at the beach again.  The kids absolute favorite beach activity is to play in the waves.  We love to “pop” them just as they are about to break.  Sawyer ran to the water yesterday saying “I’m gonna pop some waves!”  And of course in my head, I started singing “I’m gonna pop some waves….” to Macklemore.  I’ve been pretty camera happy at the beach, so I thought I would share with you photos of the cutest kids in the world playing in the ocean. 🙂  I am not biased.  For all of those here looking for furniture today, sorry…. come back next week!  And for those of you who read this blog because you like me…. well, maybe you will like these pictures, too.  And there are a lot of them… As a mom, it’s hard to select favorite photos of your own kids!  They are all favorites!

The first shots are from Monday, which was a bright and sunny day.

And yesterday was not sunny at all, but it was perfect to me…. overcast and cooler.  Here are the pictures from that…

(For those who know Sawyer well, this photo captures his body language and excitement when he just can’t contain himself!)

If you enjoyed these, come back tomorrow for Insta-friday with all the instagrams from the beach this week!  And if you skipped over this post, you might not want to come back til next week. 😉

Hope you all have a great day- we are hoping the weather cooperates with us so we can get in at least some pool time today before we head home!  Wish us luck!

LOL…I love to see pictures of the beach, and your children! I love seeing JOY on children’s faces, makes my heart smile. Glad you all had a great time. I think my favorite was the turtle release, sent that post to both of my girls, we have always wanted to see that. Have a great day and safe travels. 🙂 donna

I’m a beach lover!!! Loved seeing your pictures. The one where your sons’ arm is around his sister’s shoulder is PRECIOUS!

I prefer warm beach water so that I can play in it!

Cassie, Your children are so cute. I am particularly fond of the pic of the two looking out at the ocean together. When they become teenagers you’ll want to pull it out a lot to show them that they really do love eachother.
    Enjoy your vacation.
