Happy POWW! Hope you are off to a great start to the week. All is well here- we ended up not carving our pumpkins Sunday night because the kids and Chris bought “Maagascar 3” while I was at work Sunday (I worked an extra day as another vendor’s husband was in the hospital). Anyhow, they voted pizza and movie, so we saved the pumpkins for this coming weekend instead. Cuddles on the couch with a movie, carving pumpkins, it’s all quality family time no matter how you roll the dice. 🙂
I am looking forward to checking out all your projects this week! I have two simple little pieces to share with you today. I bought this nightstand as part of my 35 dollar haul a few weeks ago. And I painted them along side the coffee table which I kept out of that haul.
See the vanity stool on the left and the waterfall nightstand in the middle? They both got the same treatment.
I sanded them down and painted it with two coats of General Finishes Milk Paint which I purchased at the Stylish Patina barn where I am a vendor. Once dry, I finished them with a wipe on poly. On the nightstand, I added a more dramatic lion head pull I had on hand. Here are the end results!
Sometimes a simple black or white paint is all it takes to make a piece new again!
Now it’s your turn to show off your latest and greatest furniture builds or makeovers!
1. Your post must be a completed original project and must be a furniture redo or build.
2. Your post must be new to my parties- do not link something you have shared on this blog before.
3. You must be a follower or subscriber to party here.
6. Leave others some comment love!
