Happy POWW!

Before I get to my redo, I wanted to let you know I am a guest today over at Bird and Branch Redesign sharing one of my favorite friendly spaces in my home.  Here is a hint- this room is getting used this week! 🙂

Yesterday I shared with you a dresser I found while yard saling with Gwen.  Well, I told you she was a good luck token.  I may just call her Rabbit Foot from now on.  OK, Gwen?  I mean, Rabbit Foot?  Horse Shoe?  Anyhow….I found this bookcase when I was with her as well.  For $5.  Sweet.

I am sharing all the details over at The DIY Club.  I mixed my own color of milk paint for this one, so check it out!  I am going to share a quick before and after here for you.
Before:

After:

Isn’t it sweet?  I can see it in a nursery or a boy’s room.
Anyhow, what have you been up to?

Remember the rules!

RULES:
1. Your post must be a completed original project and must be a furniture redo or build.
2. Your post must be new to my parties- do not link something you have shared on this blog before.
3. You must be a follower to party here.
4. No etsy shops or the like!5. You must place my button or a text link in your post or sidebar.

    Cassie,

Everytime I visit I think to myself….why…..why do I not have any furniture to link up. What about monogrammed beds? Would that count?

    Hmmmmm.

BTW….I love the bookshelf that rabbit foot helped you find. It would look awesome on the wall, too!

    blessings,

$5 for that adorable book shelf? Can’t wait to check out the tutorial. I have never used Milk Paint, except in a class. Always have meant to, maybe now is the time!

You can call Gwen what ever lucky item you want, but I’m gonna call you Wonder Woman for everything you get accomplished. Chalk paint too?
