SnapBox provided me with a framed print and compensated me for this post.  All opinions are my own.

Creating Large Scale Art Front Printables with SnapBox

So many of you asked the other day when I shared our new pink bathroom where the statement piece of art, the “Let It Be” succulent wreath print came from; so today I am sharing all of the details on using SnapBox for printing a downloadable printable.  SnapBox is a fabulous source for creating art prints, canvas prints, wall decals and so much more from your own photos.  I am a big fan of their fine art paper and used it once before on family photos I had printed for the living room.

This time I was looking for a great piece of art for our guest bathroom makeover.  I had settled on downloading an Audubon printable, but then one night while perusing Pinterest, I happened to stumble upon the perfect printable from Printable Quirks.  The etsy shop carries this succulent wreath “Let It Be” printable in an 8×10 printable for just $5.

It was everything I wanted, minus the file size being too small.  I wanted a large scale print, so I contacted the seller and asked if it could be created in a 20×30 version and was pleasantly surprised to hear back right away!  I was told to order the 8×10 but make a note of the size I needed and it would be reformatted and sent to me.  Yay!  Thank you, Printable Quirks!

Once the file was sent to me, I headed over to SnapBox to their fine art paper section.  I selected the 20×30 print with a black frame, and uploaded my printable and I was pretty much done!

When it arrived, I was amazed at the beautiful quality and the large scale.  With the added border of the fine art paper, and the frame, my art is closer to around 30×40 total. (And pardon the window glare in the photo- this is a very small bathroom with one window that I needed the light from. I tried every possible angle… this was the very best I could get!).

I love that SnapBox can be used for so much more than just photos.  Printables can easily be found on etsy for a great price, and now printing them and creating a quality piece is just as easy and affordable!

And now I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  I am en route to Cape Cod right now….  Here I come, New England!

I love the print, I do, and I really don’t want to be mean … but every time I see this print photographed over the toilet my mind leaps right to “If it’s yellow, let it mellow” and that makes me not want to find out what’s lurking in there….

Am I the only one? I hope so, because it IS very cute!! lol.

First of all, I’ve never seen a succulent wreath – cool! Thanks for the intro to SnapBox. The process sounds very easy, and I’m tempted to try. Looking for budget friendly ways to add art to our summer home, so this is very timely. Happy weekend 🙂
