Richmond Thrifter Hosts A Special Giveaway

Hi all!  Happy Monday!   I came home from work teaching my 6 am class this morning to discover Emmy had thrown up in her bed.  We have no idea why, because she is totally fine.  We obviously kept her home from school, but she has been eating everything in sight, swinging on the swing, and full of piss & vinegar energy.  So she and I have been hanging out all day and this post is a little later than I had planned.

Have you heard of Erin’s blog, Richmond Thrifter? If you haven’t, you need to check it out. Erin has great style, and has produced projects like this…

PinPin
PinPin
What did I tell you?  The girl has got style… and heart.  Right now, she is doing a giveaway sponsored by La Neu Chick, a company owned by her friend, Nicole.  Nicole makes all sorts of awesome items for babies and tots, like wipe cases,…
PaytonPin
hairclips…
FaybreePin
and more!
Nicole is also the founder of Fay’s Friends, an organization whose mission is to help families undergoing transplants, as her own daughter, Faybree (whom the organization is named for ) survived a double lung transplant at the ripe old age of 3 1/2 months.  I get teary-eyed just thinking about going through that with one of my children, at any age, let alone infancy.  Much of Nicole’s time, energy, and money goes into Fay’s Friends.
Head on over to Erin’s blog, Richmond Thrifter for this giveaway and to learn more about what Faybree has been through. Erin has a very touching video posted on her blog that makes you think, and leaves you with this thought, “Lifeis not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the number of moments that take our breath away.”
Now go kiss your husband, hold your babies, and be thankful for every moment you have with them.

That was a tearjerker! What an adorable little girl, and she’s gone though so much.

My kids never needed a reason to throw up. It was kind of like getting the hiccups. It just happened sometimes. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m glad Emmy isn’t really sick.
