Oh the church search…our first year of marriage consisted of a different church every Sunday for a year! Found a good one though and we’ve been there for 12 years now. Good luck!

    Super Cool Fabric!

Sitting here with my hair in a turban considering skipping church today…I’m so bad. But THAT’s a whole other conversation best saved over a glass or three of wine…

I got a sample of that red chevron as a possibility for the nursery, even though I went a different way I loved it!

Can’t go wrong with chevron! My husband has been bugging me to add red into our house but since we don’t have a drop of it anywhere, I’m not yet ready to take the plunge to make it “work”. Can’t wait to see what it turns into.

Our girls’ soccer got rained out yesterday too. We were bummed, but then I was able to score some great furniture pieces on craigs list that I wouldn’t have been able to get while we were at soccer, so it all worked out 🙂

I hope you find a great church. We’ve been in Raleigh for 6 months and have yet to find a match.

Great fabric choice! 🙂 You will find a good fit, have fun on the great church search. Hubby & I had a few great laughs during our church search. I thought we were going to get kicked out of one church service.

Okay. Time for a funny AND TRUE church searching story. Back 10 years ago when we moved into our current city, we set out to pick a church. Our kids were young, so we would drop them in Sunday School and go to the service without them. One time, we dropped them and about 15 minutes into the service we KNEW the place was not for us. So we drove down the street to another church, leaving our kids in that Sunday School. LOL Not kidding, we did this!!!! We knew they were safe and didn’t want to disrupt the class and/or have to explain!!!!! We didn’t chose either of those churches from that day. It still cracks me up that we did this… Happy searching!
