Sparkly Birdie

First of all, thank you so much for all your positive thoughts after last night’s post.  I just appreciate knowing you guys are out there and rooting for me!  Unfortunaltey, it doesn’t look like we are going to be able to make the preoccupancy work.  When they finally said they would consider it, they asked for an exorbitant amount of money that our agent said she wouldn’t even allow us to pay if we had considered it.  So we wait until 10/3 or 10/5 to settle now.  I am not happy at all about how the situation worked out, but what can I do?  So, moving on…

As promised, a sparkly birdie!  This was a super simple project I am sharing over at the DIY club today,

Come check it out at the DIY Club by clicking on the button!

You know i am not a violent person AT ALL but i really would like to know who these people are so I can punch them. Like Rapunzel said “Find your humanity!” Going to check out your sparkly bird, and I think I may know who it’s for by the look of the colors 🙂

I’m sorry things didn’t work out the way you wanted them to! Thinking of you.

    The bird looks cute!
I guess I can understand why the sellers are so leery of preoccupancy, but the least they could have done is meet you and your family before deciding yes or no.
Because then they would have gone ahead and done it!

SUPER DUPER LAME! Seriously. I am so sorry friend. I really wish it could have worked out how you wanted it to, but I am in total awe of your good attitude about it. I know you’re mad (as you should be), but you are moving on like a champ, and that is inspiring.
Have a happy Thursday. Going to check out your adorable birdie now! 🙂 xo

Oh that really sucks. Shame on the owner’s sister for what she is putting you and your family through! You are doing a good job of moving on though. People just love to be difficult don’t they?

I am sad that it didn’t work out! One time we were going on vacation and pulling a huge trailer. The wheel blew out on the interstate (scary!) and by the time we finally found a wheel that would fit the trailer it was 10 pm. We arrived at our destination to find the previous occupants still there (rental agency goof) and then at midnight went to find a hotel/motel. Nothing in town available bc it is a wedding hotspot and apparently everyone was getting married that weekend! We drove to another town and settled in around 1 am in the Hampton Inn…grumpy three little kids and a mama, too! The only thing Rob and I could conclude through that experience is that we had three sets of eyes watching our every move to see how we handle each ‘bump’ in the road! I am not sure what you are to learn from any of this, but maybe it will make your family a little bit closer as you sort through this trial. It will pass! I was not as graceful as my husband was…so we had an example of how to handle trials and how not to!! Take care! Oct. 5 will be here before you know it…hang in there! Christie

I am so sorry for all this pain and confusion. It does make you question how people can be so mean. You better get some sage to burn in the new house to get ride of the unpleasantness anf bad vibes from these people before you settle in! Thank you for coming to my blog and for your nice comments.
