Happy Friday! It’s the first day of our August Sweet Clover barn sale, and I have some super exciting news that coincides with my shop business.
First of all, I want to know if you have ever dreamed of owning your own shop? I am sure that many of you who read this blog have dreamed right along with me. Perhaps you’ve wondered if you could follow your passion and have your own store.

Well, I am excited to say that Sarah and I had the opportunity to discus what it takes to open your own store on Glitter Guide yesterday! Someome pinch me- I can’t believe it! You can check out the article here. I hope it inspires you to dream, work, and keep on keeping on. Go get it, girl!
Secondly, you may have heard of one of my very favorite blogs…. Style Mutt Home. Yes? Well the girls of Style Mutt, Chelsea & Cate, have graced Sweet Clover by setting up a pop up shop in our barn for this weekend’s event! I am a huge fan of their modern vintage hip look. That’s totally a style, and I adore it!
Check out some of the goods they will have for sale!
And now I thought I would show you more of the pieces that Sarah, I, and our vendors have brought in.
I found this vintage pink velvet settee. It would be so perfect in a little girl’s room.
This midcentury dresser has been given new life in a two toned white and wood look- modern classic!
Sarah painted this French stunner in General Finishes corinth blue.
Leilouta creates some fun signs- I love this “Shut the front door!”
I am also totally loving these globes she painted.
JMarsteller Designs brought in these awesome vintage state souvenir glasses. I love the pastel colors- they would make fabulous vases on wedding tables.
This unique dresser was hand painted by Two Crafty Squirrels. I love the way she brought attention to detail but kept it all tonal.
Who doesn’t love a classic black beauty? And paired with amber glass, this piece from Salvaged is striking.
All About Vignettes created a great textural wall featuring burlap and gold layers- what an aye catcher!
Cloher Collections styled the cottage for us this month and they created a beautiful floral Fall look. I just love this tablescape they created.
This gorgeous buffet, also by Cloher Collections, is styled for the floral Fall harvest as well with dried lavender and touches of white.
The Shabby Chic Girl always has a great cozy feel in her space with her rustic pieces, dried florals, and textures.
Sweet Cards is back with some great new banners- love this one! Yay you!
Gatehouse Designs always has beautiful French Country pieces, and I love all of the touches of green mixed with the warmer colors for a transitional end of Summer look.
This chest from Repurposed & Refined would make a great nightstand. And guess what- did you know they have a shop in downtown Frederick as well? Check it out here.
And this photo is slightly out of focus, but I just had to share. Random Notion brought in this vintage folding screen with vintage Audubon pages on it… I see a fabulous headboard in a chic guest room. How about you?
And that is honestly just a very small taste of what’s in store. If you are local I would love it if you would come see us this weekend! I’ll be working Saturday, and the girls from Style Mutt will be joining me that morning as well. Hope to see you!
