Welcome to the weekend!  Just about.
When I asked you all what you wanted to know more about, so many of you wanted to see more of Sweet Clover and read more about it.  As you might already know, we host a sale at the barn (we rent it from our landlord) typically one three-day weekend a month.  We also host special events on occasion. This weekend is our typical sale, PLUS we are hosting a special event this Saturday!  I am excited to announce that we will have local author, Julie Gaver, at Sweet Clover from 10-2 this Saturday signing copies of her light hearted and uplifting books, Must Love Shoes and Must Love Shoes 2.   Julie is a highly intelligent and inspiring woman, and I must mention that she is HIL-arious with a capital HIL.  And she lives just a few minutes from me!  I love to support my local businesses, and I love to fill Sweet Clover with local finds, including local celebrities!  I hope if you can you will come out and meet her!  She is also a huge advocate for Project Alive and because of this we are offering a Lucky 7% discount to all customers who bring in a new pair of children’s shoes to donate to the cause!  And on top of that, the first 50 customers who participate will receive a complementary bar of Black Sparrow Handmade Soap in ‘Sweet Clover” scent!  And Saturday is my day to work this weekend, so I am super excited about all the goings on… AND, mother nature willing, it’s going to be 60 degrees!

Now, how about some pictures of our freshly styled for Spring barn sale!

This dining set is towards the front of the barn, and we have it decked out with brightly colored vintage dishes.

We’ve added some subtle Spring touches. to our vignettes.

Distinguished Cottage creates some amazing signs such as the hippity hop above, and also amazing mirrors like the chevron below.

Sarah painted the above two dressers as well as this black desk blow, and above it we hung a fabulous handmade oyster mirror from Two Sisters and a Mom.

This adorable dresser was brought in by Traer Loves…. How fun?!

Bmore Nestled always has such pretty pieces- I love the details on this coffee table.

All About Vignettes has some awesome farm animal inspired accents, and this amazing rustic trunk which would be fabulous at the foot of a bed, or as a coffee table.

Ms.Maria is a newer vendor and she hails from Denark.  I love her her style is so true to who she is and unique!

Simple Pleasures Vintage Reimagined has some fabulous pieces, including this duck egg table.  And check out the fun chickens on top!

Two Crafty Squirrels brought in some awesome finds, my favorite being this huge cow painting!  Love it!

The ladies of Seasons always have such pretty layers of rustic and shimmering!

Charm City Farmhouse always has the coolest rustiest stuff!  Love this True Value truck!

Random Notion styled our cottage this month with some help from Distressed.  It’s wrapped in gardeny goodness to get you in the mood for Spring!

Random Notion painted this adorable piece, and I love how the light catches the blue glass.

New vendor Restyled Treasures is all set for Spring with loads of cheerful color!

Thrift Diving and The Glittered Barn also have a space chock full of Spring color.

Penelope George Home is here for her first month… and hello amazing bamboo trunk.  I need you in my life.

Distressed brought in this fabulous Cow art… Wouldn’t this be amazing in a dining room?

Eleanor Madison has some beautiful pieces, including a set of four high backed French chairs… love!

Mediterranean Grey always has some of the most beautiful dressers.  Not pictured is a stunning triple French piece they have!

And this piece I did… I painted it before and it just didn’t sell so it got a makeover… Hoping it will find a home soon!

And of course we are stocked with all sorts of locally handmade goodies, like Misty Blue Candles, Black Sparrow Soaps, Charlie Madison Jewelry, and more!

And this is just a small sample of all the photos I took this past week.  You can click here to see the rest.

So today…. I don’t have to go to the barn and set anything up, or work.  I will relax.  I will!  And then I will brace myself for what I hope is a really busy Saturday!  Hope you all have an amazing first weekend of Spring!
