That is a long title, but I couldn’t leave anything out… it’s vital.
You may recall that last year Sweet Clover partnered with Hometalk to bring you the Hometalk Halloween Hunt. We approached Hometalk about working with them on another Fall event and were stoked that they were up for it. We’ve also partnered with one of our favorite downtown shops that just oozes with style, Silk & Burlap. My partner, Sarah, and I have been working with Angelique & Saule of Silk & Burlap to bring you an amazing slice of Frederick Style, with stops along the way (a handful of sponsoring shops curated by us!). We present you with the Hometalk Hometown Hustle! #hometalkhustle
This event is open to all bloggers (if you are not a blogger, feel free to visit us and head downtown that day as well!) and we have a limit of 75 spaces available. The day will begin with a breakfast spread and meet and greet put on by Hometalk at the Hilton Garden Inn in Frederick, MD. From there, attendees can choose to use our provided shuttles or take their own transportation over to Sweet Clover, where we will be open to all for the day from 11-3. Then finally, it’s shuttled off to downtown with stops at Silk & Burlap and some of our favorite places! There will be snacks and swag provided, and also a couple of exciting demos, like General Finishes paint, and fashion/style demos! This is a chance for Silk & Burlap and Sweet Clover to share some hometown pride with bloggers! We love Frederick, and want you to come experience it and love it, too! For more details and to RSVP that you would like to come (bloggers only, please), please click here.
Now, I am pleased to introduce two of our sponsors (Over the next week or so, I will be introducing four more- stay tuned!).
The Muse is one of my long time favorite Frederick shops…. before I even lived here, I hit it up for gifts and inspiration. The shop owner, Whitney, is the sweetest young lady- she’s an inspiration to me! Here is what she has to say about The Muse.
The Muse was opened over 11 years ago and had a clear mission- to create a fun, ever changing environment that promotes creative inspiration! Everything in the store is handmade, American made. 70% of the store is made by local artists! With our carefully selected items, craft parties, monthly artist receptions and product launch parties we love being a go-to place for finding unique handmade gifts!
Whitney has informed us that she has a special demo going on that afternoon for the Hometalk Hometown Hustle; Michelle Bosley of 1974 Leather Goods will be there presenting a leather accessory demo! You DIY enthusiasts won’t want to miss it!
Be sure to like The Muse on facebook, too!
