Happy Thrift Score Thursday, aka #thriftscorethursday!

thrift score thursday11

New here?  Let me explain.

We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!

Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For My Love Of, Brynne from The Gathered Home and a weekly guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

This week we have the crazy talented Ashley of Bigger than the Three of Us back as a guest host.

This past weekend I headed to an auction, and I honestly did not win that much, but I had fun!  I did score these bottles that I shared on instagram Sunday.

Colorful bottles

Hidden in a box was also this ceramic skeleton which was, of course, appropriate for this time of year.  The day I put it out, Sawyer had refused to eat lasagne for dinner so he went to bed hungry.  I vented to my running buddy Monday morning and then sent her this picture, and told her it was really a shame Sawyer hadn’t eaten his dinner.IMG_4057Now let’s get to the features.  I have a few that really stood out to me this week.

Anna from Annabode wasn’t sure what if she should leave this fabulous forty dollar chair as is or recover. I suggested leaving as is and mailing to me.

tst annabodeYou can find Anna on instagram here.

Cate from StyleMutt Home has a great eye and finds some of the neatest things!  Check out this fabulous plate she found like this!  I was sure she had painted it.

tst cateYou can find Cate on instagram here.

Emily of Watassa scored this fabulous chair on the last day of an estate sale.  Can you believe it was still sitting there?  (Cheesy pun intended).

tst watassaYou can find Emily on instagram here.

Now be sure to visit all of my cohosts found and featured!

Until next week, happy hunting!

PS- I am honored to be featured over at Reinvented today as Kimm’s inspiration for a project she refinished.  I was so touched when she emailed me to let me know!  Check it out here.

lol! I’m glad we aren’t the only ones that put our kiddos to bed without dinner if they turn up their noses! That irks me so much! I never thought I’d love a skeleton but I think yours is adorable.

Whoa… A ceramic skeleton? That’s seriously so cool – way classier than the plastic versions! Now I want one!!! And those bottles are stunning and I can’t wait to see them in their final display! Did you see the recent A Beautiful Mess post with the rainbow glass collection?

Those glass bottles are really fantastic! Such pretty colors. I would put small shelves over a window and line the bottles up so it would do a stained glass effect in the room. I’ve always wanted to do that… And the skeleton is such a fun treat.
