Happy Thrift Score Thursday! It’s time for some of my blog friends and I to show off our own and your own thrifty finds!
If you aren’t sure what I am talking about, here are the details:
We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.
Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!
Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and ProperCorinna from For My Love Of, Brynne from The Gathered Home and a weekly guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
And this week we have the fabulous Kyla from House of Hipsters back as a guest host. Isn’t she just the cutest? She might be hiding behind the camera here, but she is. Trust me.
Before I get to my features, I have an announcement!!!! On Thursday December 18th, we will be featuring your thrifted CHRISTMAS or HOLIDAY finds!!!! So make sure you keep on hashtagging your thrifty finds with #thirftscorethursday, and be sure to include those holiday finds!
And now, here are my features for this week….
Tanya from Dans Le Lakehouse scored this adorable little pig for 70 cents! She’s trying to spend less, but how can you say no to a gold pig?
Stephanie from Sandpaper and Glue didn’t get any leftover turkey from her family Thanksgiving; she did even better and got a pair of these rugs!
And I had to feature these mugs from Creations by Rachel
And now I want to share my own find! I actually had a Christmas find to share with you, but I thought I’d save it. I stopped in my favorite thrift shop yesterday and was about to walk out empty handed, when I spotted a log holder, and, well, we needed a log holder! And this was no ordinary log holder- it was black and brass and PERFECT for my fireplace, which is all decked out in black and white and white right now! Check this baby out!
