It’s time for Thrift Score Thursday!  I just love this day so much and look forward to seeing what everyone has found each week.

thrift score thursday11Pin

We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!

Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and Proper,Corinna from For My Love Of, Brynne from The Gathered Home and a weekly guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

This week we have Nicole from Design it Vintage back as guest host!

I am stoked about my find… I honestly forgot about it because I found it this summer and put it in my garage to take to Sweet Clover for our Holiday Open House (which starts today!).  Well, when I pulled the box out I had a little change of heart.  “The box” contained several vintage mica houses (which all are available at Sweet Clover) and 17 vintage bottle brush trees.  I said to Chris, “Maybe I should keep these for our decor this year?”  He replied with “Why not?”  That was all the response I needed to validate my keeping them.  So here’s a little sample of the 17 I scored!  And I have plans for them….

IMG_4693PinNow moving onto my features… Let me kick it off with a Halloween score!  I loved this costume that Hayley of Hudgins at Home put together… Amelia Earhart! Isn’t she adorable, too? tst hudginsathomePinYou can find Hayley on instagram here.

I don’t usually post the clothing finds people share, but I would totally wear this chihuahua sweatshirt that Rachel of Crazy4Shuz scored!tast crazy4shuzPin

You can find Rachel on instagram here.

Laurie Jones scored these awesome green goblets at her local Goodwill and they look perfect in her home!

You can find Laurie on instagram here.

And one more for the day… Copper Dogwoods scored this vintage mini peacock chair.  I actually have a couple at Sweet Clover now, but after seeing her use as a little planter I am thinking I need to go take them home!

Now make sure you visit my cohosts to see their awesome finds and features as well!

And if you want to cohost, email me at [email protected].  We would love to have you!#thriftscorethursday-Call-for-Guest-HostsPinI always love thrifting this time of year and finding new-to-me inexpensive decorations for my holiday home.  It’s exciting to see what may turn up!  Remember to use our hashtag on your finds for a chance to be featured next week.  Until then, Happy hunting!

Those bottle brush trees are fantastic! I buy fake ones from the dollar store every year since I’ve not been lucky enough to find vintage ones.

Wow, simply put double wow!!!! MIca houses AND vintage trees….call me Kermit cause I am that green!!! The Chihuahua shirt? Adorbs! Totally….I just adopted an elder Chihuahua…she’s such a sweetie! 5 pounds of love. Now, if I can only convince my cat (CoCoChanel, believe me the name fits) that this little lady is harmless. I digress, just want to say that ThriftScore (great adlib) Thursday is always and forever a must read post. I love this concept and your posts! Hope you enjoy your weekend!
