Hey hey hey, it’s #thriftscorethursday! It’s that time of the week when we get together and show off our hunted goods, and welcome you to show off yours!  (And PS, the giveaway winner is announced at the bottom of this post).

thrift score thursday10Pin

We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!

Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and ProperCorinna from For My Love Of, Brynne from The Gathered Home and a weekly guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

Lately, I have been on the hunt for a big long dining table for Sweet Clover.  So naturally I have found three dressers and some chairs.  I shared one dresser with you last week, and its makeover yesterday.  This week, I scored this beauty!

Don’t be deceived- it has some moldings missing, and a gouge in the side of it, but look at the shape and that hardware…. SWOON!  I have my plans for it… what would YOU do with it?

Now let’s check out my features this week….

How amazing is this $5 midcentury find from Jess at Bright Green Door?  I love everything about it!

tstbrightgreendoorPinYou can find Bright Green Door on instagram here.

I am always a sucker for unique brass candlesticks and I love these scored by Oscar Bravo Home.  How awesome are they mixed on his mantle?

And finally, check out this fabulous punch bowl turned terrarium from The Decor Adobe!  LOVE it!

tstdecorabodePinYou can find The Decor Adobe on instagram here.

Do you love hunting for amazing finds?  If you do, share them on instagram, tag them #thriftscorethursday, and maybe I or one of my cohosts will feature it!

Speaking of my cohosts…. check out their finds and features as well.

That first dresser reminds me of the pink and gold one I did last year. I could have sold that one over and over again. I still get emails about it. You should paint it light pink 😉
I hope I’ll score my dining room set tomorrow, maybe then it’s time for my thriftscore Thursday 😉

Woman you are rocking some serious finds! I always love a good gray color with brass, but I feel like that pieces needs more wow like emerald green? Whatever you choose will amazing I have no doubt. And, who can I sweet talk for those gorgeous candle holders, fabulous!

i wanted to do emerald at first but it has so much damage that it really needs to be lightly distressed and i don’t like emerald distressed.

Such a cool dresser! I think I’d paint the case black, but leave the drawer fronts with their beautiful veneer–except paint the skinny molding on them black too. I see this piece, and I think–glam! 🙂 Can’t wait to see what you do with it. I’ll have to come up to a sale soon, when it gets warmer!

That dresser is so sweet Cassie! I know you said two-tone finishes don’t sell well, which is kind of sad because that wood finish is really sweet! But maybe two-tone colors like Julia’s suggestion of pink and gold, or black and gold… I know it’ll be stunning whatever you end up doing!

That hardware alone makes the dresser appear to be a great find! I’m imagining the hardware brighter and shinier. With the damage you’ll probably be forced to paint regardless. But it’ll be stunning regardless!
