Thrift Score Thursday Featuring Some Finds for and Peeks of My Office Space

Happy #thriftscorethursday !  I said it last week and I will say it again this week, it’s amazing how much this little hashtag has really grown lately.  Brynne and Trisha started something totally amazing, and allowed Corinna and myself to join in the fun; and now, each week, it’s so much more exciting to select features from a wide variety of thrifted finds!  So thank you to Brynne and Trisha for starting this, and thank you to all of you for grabbing hold and running with it, too!

New here?  Well then let me explain what thrift score Thursday is….

We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!

Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and ProperCorinna from For My Love Of, Brynne from The Gathered Home and a weekly guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

This week I had some thrift envy going on.  And just think- yard sale season is on the horizon and it’s only going to get better!

Brynne’s been sharing her own find first lately and I think I like that method, so I am going to try it out.  I’m featuring a couple of finds, both which are part of my guest room office space, so you’ll get a couple more peeks as well!

First of all, I found these awesome brass feather sconces a while back and reluctantly brought them to Sweet Clover, hoping no one else would love them like I do.  Thank goodness, they sat unsold for a while, and I took them home and hung them on the wall above my desk.

Just check out the feather details in brass….. love!feather sconce2Pin

I’ve been looking for a trash can for next to my desk, and was so thrilled to see this black and gold one that our new Sweet Clover vendor, Made New by Kimberly Brooke, brought it!  It was only $9, so it came home with me.  Oh, and I had a chair in my garage that was perfect for this space and was a free roadside find, so even better!  This space is really starting to come together.

trash1PinAnd now it’s time for me to show off YOUR fabulous finds!

Whitney, aka carpendaughter, found these awesome chairs… love the color and style!  And I loved what I saw so much in the background that I stalked her feed and became a follower.  So many pretty things.

Chelc from Inside the Fox Den discovered this unicorn-itastical clock!!!!!!!  Unreal.  If anyone ever finds another, I need it in my life.

Now this light stopped me dead in my tracks- I have never seen one like it before!  Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios found it and I can’t wait to see where it’s going.  It’s so dreamy!tstmaggieoverbystudiosPin

Kelly from Olie And Co scored these fabulous vintage paint by numbers… I am always a sucker for these!tstolie.and.coPinYou can find Kelly on instagram here.

I’m in love with so many things in this post. First of all I could have not given those candle holders to sweet clover customers 😉 Want that chandelier and totally love those paint by numbers. Would be perfect for Lilly’s room.

I *love* those wall sconces! I’ve been looking for something to go on either side of the big mirror in my living room (http://www.plasteranddisaster.com/living-room-makeover-goodbye-marsala-hello-gallery-wall/), and something like that would be perfect! You’ve got me inspired to hunt down the perfect pieces.
