It’s time for Thrift Score Thursday! If you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is. We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.
Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it! And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!
Each week Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For A Designer at Home, Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios, and once monthly a guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
This week we have Bonnie from Revolutionaries Market guest hosting with us as well! Bonnie is a furniture makeover maven, so be sure to visit her blog for inspiration as well.I really had no idea what I would share this week… it was a crazy week at work last week and I didn’t do any thrifting of any sort. But yesterday, I was cleaning up my porch to prepare for a couple of upcoming Summer tours on the blog, and as I worked near my potting bench I spied a little find I had completely forgotten about. About a month ago, Sarah and I headed to a local Lions Club yard sale, and I picked up this sweet little vintage creamer complete with succulent for $2.I think it is supposed to be a mama deer with a babu, but maybe a kangaroo? I mean, I just can’t tell! What do you think? It happens to be sitting next to my “oh dear” planter which was not planned. Now let me share with you my features this week. There were so many incredible finds once again. I have personally been focusing on finds that are also well styled… I love to see how people use their thrifted goods stylishly in their homes.
Christina scored this sweet little piece of art and added it into her newly redone kitchen. You know I love vintage art in the kitchen. You can find Christina on instagram here.
Kari showed off her vintage kitchen finds, and jadeite always makes my heart skip a beat. But can we talk about the canisters? Kari, if you ever feel like you need to give them to me, you should listen to that urge.
The Cayman Islands must have some really interesting things, because this is the second time I have featured Eden. I love her brightly colored thrifted print and how about that “Cayman” basket her sister found. And can you imagine having huge leaves like that to just put in vases? Who wants to move to the islands with me?
You can find Eden on instagram here.
Doug finds some of the best things out in Colorado. He has ninja thrifting skills, and lucky for you, he sells so many of his finds in his shop. I not only love this American flag he found (perfect for this time of year, too, right?) but I love how it peeks out from behind his giant fiddle leaf fig.You can find Doug on instagram here.
Jen always styles her finds beautifully. I have never been one for pottery, but after seeing this, I will be on the lookout!

And finally, my last feature for today goes to Nicole who showed off her painted Jenny Lind bed. It’s perfect paired with her blue, gray, and white bedding.

Now head on over to see what my cohosts have found and featured this week.
That’s all! We will see you back here next week for more thrifted inspiration. Happy Hunting!
