Hey guys, it’s Thrift Score Thursday!Thrift Score ThursdayIf you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is.  We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!  And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!

Each week Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For A Designer at Home,  Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios, and  once monthly a guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

Before I go any further, I want to let you know we are taking a break next week.

Now onto my find which once again came from that one barn sale where I purchased my last few thrift scores.  I told you it was epic!  I scored two tapestries there, and this is just one of them… Vintage Peacock Tapestry

Emmy was with me at the time and she loved the peacock.  I have absolutely NO idea what I will even do with this tapestry, and just tacked it up for the photos; but it is gorgeous, isn’t it?  I am toying with the idea of an etsy shop… so maybe that will happen and you’ll see it there!  I don’t know… should I?

Now for my features this week….

Eirene found a few creamy thrifted blankets to use on her bed, and the outcome of the combination with her pillows and styling is so cozy and inviting.  tst-crazyoldirene

Jessica revealed her new boho porch which was made complete by this thrifted bamboo furniture set… love the pink!tst-househomemadeRosie is working on her daughter’s room, and thrifted this uniquely shaped rattan chair… what a great find!tst-rosie-casaAnd finally, Rachael showed off her thrifted gentleman’s dresser turned bar…. talk about inviting.  It’s like he is saying to me, “Come on, just one more.  Baby, it’s cold outside, and I am open all night.”tst-this-is-our-bliss

Head on over to my cohosts to see their finds and features this week, and don’t forget we are taking a break next week!Thrift Score Thursday Brynne color (1)

I ADORE the colors in that peacock tapestry! I’ve always had a weakness for peacocks – fun fact: one of my earlier blogs was called “I Love Peacocks” and was just an aggregate of peacock products I found around the web! And this was long before I had heard of affiliate marketing, lol 😛

Such pretty features this week! I especially love the pink in Eirene’s and Jessica’s spaces!

Love that tapestry! As far as opening an Etsy shop I say go for it! I have three shops. It’s free to open one up so what have you got to lose? And I’ve had pretty good luck selling tapestries by the way ;o)
