Hi friends! It’s time for Thrift Score Thursday! If you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is. We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.
Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it! And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!
Each week Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For A Designer at Home, Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios, and once monthly a guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
Last week I shared a fantastic vintage blanketthat I found at an epic barn sale. Well I came home with loads of goodies from that sale so today we’re going to look at another find…. a set of 10 amber goblets.
These were priced at $2 each, but I asked if I could get a better price for buying all 10 and she told me I could have them for $12. I loved them and knew I’d love to have a set of glasses in this color for the fall.
I used them to create a tablescape I’ll be showing you tomorrow, which actually features another find you’re going to love! Here’s a little tiny peek of that…Now for my features….
Jen found this amazing bar cart… she styled it perfectly with all thrifted finds, and it adds a great touch of glam to her space.Kelly scored these aqua and gold vintage dove glasses… my vintage glassware loving heart started singing when I laid my eyes on them.
Via Craigslist, Erin found a vintage midcentury coffee table which suits her moody dark living room perfectly. This girl knows how to mix it!
Now head on over to my cohosts to see their own finds and features.
