It’s Thrift Score Thursday and I am pumped because I went to the most epic yard sale last weekend and found loads of things for me…. like new to me boho bedding!thrift-score-thursday-main-imagePinIf you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is.  We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!  And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!

Each week Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For A Designer at Home,  Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios, and  once monthly a guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

My find first…. So I have a pile of finds from this one yard sale that should get me through the next month of Thrift Score Thursday, that’s just how amazing it was.  I thought I would share my favorite find first.  I found this vintage wool handmade blanket from India… I know it was from India because the sale was an elderly woman with her two daughters, and she enjoyed telling me some stories about her pieces and where they came from.  She told me $15 for this piece of beauty and I knew I wanted to add it to my fall bedroom!eclectic-vintage-boho-bedroom-white-woodPin

The colors aren’t my typical colors but it’s perfect this season and works beautifully with my moroccan rug.Modern Bohemian Vintage BedroomPin

Vintage Indian Blanket in Boho BedroomPinThe hand stitched details are so beautiful.  I’ve wanted a funkier blanket for this bed and this one is perfect!  The fact that it’s wool will help carry it through this season.Details of Vintage Indian Wool BlanketPin

I searched etsy and found some very similar blankets below for you, and this shop was having a flash sale at the moment.

Now let me show you my features this week. There were so many great finds that it was touch to narrow it down.

Amber found this tasseled vintage bedspread and added it to one of her sofas from a set to hide the set-ness of it. 😉 I love this look!  I spy some great greenery and macrame going on, too.tst-ambsadventures-throwPinAnd I am loving this thrifted art mix that Patina Pennys showed off on her gorgeous mantle.  Her garland reminds me of my cohost, Corinna’s!
tst-patina_pennysPinNow head on over to see what my cohosts are sharing this week!

I don’t remember if I told you I’m deeply in love with the furry pillows. This decoration theme is really helpful for me as well as others who also love this pillow model. Thanks a lot!
