It’s #thriftscorethursday !

New here? Let me explain!

We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!

Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For My Love Of, Brynne from The Gathered Home and a weekly guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

This week we are so excited to have Claire Brody as our guest host.  I adore Claire!  We met through instagram, and I am so glad we did…. she is full of design style and inspiration.  And she is gorgeous and sweet!

For my finds this week, I am sharing a little project (I already shared it on instagram so you may have seen it!) that Emmy and I created.  While Sawyer was in camp one day she and I hit the thrift shop and found embroidery hoops in wood and some in a cool tarnished metal.  We also found ribbon and yarn as well as doilies there.  We came home and each created dream catchers.  Mine actually hangs over our bed in our master bedroom, but I placed it here so you could see it easily.  It was rather easy- let me know if you would be interested in a tutorial.

DIY Doily Dream CatcherPinEmmy created a few of her own as well.  Here she is with one of her designs.  This project is great to do with kids!

Doily dreamcatcherPinNow let’s check out my fab features for the week.

These midcentury sling chairs that Candy from Habitat 2 Home scored are amazing!  WOW.

Next up, Jenn of Suite22 Antiques always has fun finds(available for purchase in her etsy shop) , but this dapper fox mug had my heart!

And finally, Tracy of Tracy’s Chic Vintage found this little loveseat she wanted for  her daughter’s room.  I really hope she got it… I love it!tsttracyschicvintagePinYou can find Tracy on instagram here.

That’s all I have for you this week, but make sure to visit my cohosts to see their awesome finds and features.

Is that snow in the picture with the chairs?! I’m sorry, I got distracted. Because I’ve been hot for so very long. I want to go have a nice cold drink out of that fox mug whilst sitting on that loveseat.

I love it! Doilies! I’ll have to keep if any of my thrift stores have any. Makes for a very beautiful dreamcatcher.

Such a good idea to hit up the craft section in the thrift stores. I always breeze past that section because, like retail stores, it’s a bit intimidating. So glad the two of you could craft those together!

I love those dream catchers – so sweet! I’m so inspired to combine doilies + tassels in some way now… Hopefully I run across some doilies soon!

I’m selling the old house and have my and my mom’s stuff to garage sale…how should I price cups and saucers? Handpainted miscellaneous china pieces? I could try to take a picture with my phone if anyone could help me.
