It’s Thrift Score Thursday! Can I get a woot woot!
If you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is. We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.
Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it! And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!

This past week I was lucky enough to have a friend who is moving (and has a beautiful home filled with gorgeous antiques- you may have heard of her, The Graphics Fairy!!) contact me to let me know she was hosting a private sale on Monday and was letting it all go inexpensively before the big move… and I was invited!
I purchased a few pieces from her but have to go back and get some of them this weekend. I was able to take home this gray industrial cubby.
I haven’t decided if I will keep it or sell it at this point because I really love it! Of course I don’t know where I’d use it but it has a million and one potential uses… kids art work bin, mail sorter, paper organizer, dish ware, magazine organization, and the list really goes on, right? As of now I staged it in my driveway… because it was awkward to carry alone into my house. But wouldn’t it be perfect for my magazine hoard?
Of course it would only encourage me to keep on hoarding, so maybe not. But these magazines hold valuable information! The latest Family Circle issues are chock full of awesome summer recipes. I need them.
Talk me off of the cliff. Or talk me onto it. My husband loves me when we keep all the things. And sometimes I just like to make him prove his love to me.

Gretchen proved that your finds don’t have to be vintage to be thrifted awesomeness. She scored this Ikea sleeper sofa off Craigslist, and it is perfect in her basement.

Robin scored this fantastic cutting board! I mean, have you ever seen one so awesome? I love it! I would be cutting the cheese all the time. What can I say, fart jokes are never below my level.

Mellabobella always finds the most interesting and quirky pieces. And lucky for us, she sells them in her etsy shop. Like these awesome head planters. (My birthday is coming up in a few weeks….)

Shelby was looking for dining chairs and as luck would have it she came across these vintage bad boys for just $10. Seriously! She also has an etsy shop with crazy cool finds.

Katie showed off her thrifted midcentury dresser that she painted. I am always a sucker for a two toned MCM piece and had to share it.
