Happy Thrift Score Thursday!thrift score thursday12Pin

If you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is.  We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!  And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!

Each week Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinnafrom For My Love Of,  Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios, and  once monthly a guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

This week we welcome back guest host Ariel of PMQ for Two.  Ariel has got such a fun and colorful style- you’ve got to check out her blog!TST Guest Host ArielPinPin

I have a super cool find…. but alas I left it at Sweet Clover and only have a cruddy iPhone picture, so it will have to wait.  But it’s oh so quirky!  I am heading there today and hope to remember to bring my camera.   In the meantime I headed out yesterday to my local Goodwill to drop off 5 bags of clothing since I purged my dresser and closet.  I said goodbye to those bikinis that although they fit I know in my heart I will never wear again; and it was a freeing experience!  Anyhow, I digress.  I stepped into the store to see if I could find something to share and came across a great little boho brass box for $2. I brought it home and put it in my bedroom.  I had so much room since I just purged, so need to fill it up again, right? 😉 Brass Box Thrift Score Thursday 3PinI loved the vibe and the colors, and thought it looked perfect with The New Bohemians.  I mean look at those colors and designs with the cover!Brass Box Thrift Score Thursday 2PinAnd one more photo just because it’s such a pretty little box.  Not sure what we will store in here, and it may just be a box full of air, but then we’d have something in common I suppose.  It looks lovely and that’s enough for me at the moment.Brass Box Thrift Score ThursdayPinNow for the features… I saw so many I loved and wanted to feature 47.  But I pared it down and here’s what I’ve got for you.

First up is this little piece of vintage art from Jessica at Honey N Hydrangea. I love using vintage art on my kitchen shelves and this vignette caught my eye.honeynhydrangeaPinYou can find Jessica on instagram here.

Next up is this whole scenario from The Indigo Tribe which cost less than $50!  She created the leather wall hanging herself.  Love the rug over the headboard!  And check out her amazing Etsy shop… I want it all!the indigo tribePinFind The Indigo Tribe on instagram here.

Another fabulous bedroom vignette with a thrifted wall hanging is this space from Kim Wilson, co-owner of another great etsy shop ReFound Vintage.

Katie of Rus in Urbe Home scored this cubby box and filled it with air plants! Looks so awesome!  Katie also owns an etsy shop with loads of lovely brass things. 🙂  She has a wall hanging in there now that is an awesome price and oh so tempting to me!

And I have one more for you today… the brass mother load from Elizabeth Rose Designs.  Check out those camel bookends?  Every woman needs a pair of those.

Now be sure to visit my cohosts to see their own finds as well as more features!

That wraps up Thrift Score Thursday this week.  I hope to be back next week with one of my quirkiest finds to date.  And once again I can’t wait to see all of your finds- don’t forget to tag us with #thriftscorethursday.  I love seeing what you are up to- you all inspire me!  I was just telling the other ladies that y’all make me want to redo my entire house.  This could be dangerous.

I have a similar brass box I and it’s one of my favorite things. Love the little “jewels” set on the top! Looks like a lot of top winners this week. Usually the picks are pretty varied but this week we are all loving air plants and brass.

I totally missed the third one you featured. I love it. And your brass box is giving me serious brass box envy! Those gem accents are too perfect! Wouldn’t orange look nice in your kitchen? Maybe an orange kilim? ;P
