Happy Thrift Score Thursday!

thrift score thursday11Pin

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving and spent time with your family, appreciating all of the blessings you have.  I am thankful for so many things this year… I am so happy you each take time to come here and participate in our weekly hashtag challenge!  I am also grateful that people get rid of good junk and we get to rediscover it!

If you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is.  We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!

Each week, Trisha from Black and White Obsession, Cassie from Primitive and Proper,Corinna from For My Love Of, Brynne from The Gathered Home and a weekly guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

This week we have Arielle from Scotch & Nonsense as guest host.  I am so glad she reached out to me because when I clicked over to her blog, I was smitten- Beautiful photography and amazing style.

Since December is officially here, and I will be sharing the first part of my tour tomorrow, I thought I’d give you a sneak peek with a recent find.  I actually found this fabulous vintage Santa in his skivvies in my own shop, Sweet Clover, for $29, which I thought was a great price for what I was purchasing. One of our vendors had the most fabulous vintage Santa Claus collection, and this one caught my eye.  I waited a couple days and since no one had purchased him, I took him home!    Here he is in my home, and I think he completes this little vignette perfectly.  Check back next Wednesday to see the rest of this area.

TST SantaPinNow check out my features this week… you guys sure scooped up some finds while we were on a break!  Of course I had to feature some festive finds.

Crystal of Clear Cut Crystal  created a lovely vignette with thrifted finds- you know I always love brass deer!

Erin also found some brass deer- I thought these little fawn were so sweet!

Suzy of Wink Wink Studio scored a hand like mine!  I love my porcelain glove mold so much and always have fun styling it. I love how Suzy has hers as jewelry storage.  I love everything about this photo!tst winkwinkPin

And finally, I am smitten with this outifit Dina of Dina’s Days put together using a thrifted jacket, shirt, and hat!  Her blog has all sorts of inspired thrifty outfits!tstdinasdaysPinYou can find Dina on instagram  here.

That’s all for this week; be sure to visit my cohosts to see their finds and features this week!

Your santa is great, and I feel like those brass deer would also look mighty fine as part of some Christmas decor. And it’s finally official – I NEED a porcelain glove mold in my life!

That’s got to be the sweetest Santa ever! I’d imagine that Mrs. Claus sent his suit out for cleaning? 😉 Love your features! I can’t believe we didn’t share any of the same ones for once, haha 😀

oh, I love your Santa! And of course all the brass deer (I found a brass deer last year, put him away for Christmas, and now I can’t find him anywhere! It’s tragic)
