It’s Thrift Score Thursday!thrift score thursday12Pin

If you are new here, let me explain just what #thriftscorethursday is.  We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and treasures.

Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it!  And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!

Each week Brynne from The Gathered Home, Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from For A Designer at Home,  Maggie from Maggie Overby Studios, and  once monthly a guest co-host will pick a favorite thrift score or two to feature! So please note that by linking up with#thriftscorethursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.

This week I finally remembered to bring home one of the quirkiest finds I’ve had!  I had originally brought it to Sweet Clover, but now that it is home… well I think it looks perfect here.  What do you think of my quirky coyote, whom I have dubbed Quirk E. Coyote?quirky coyote candle holderPinIsn’t this just the oddest candle holder you have ever seen?

coyote candlestickPinSo weird, but I just love it so much.  I think my dogs like him, too… he fits right into our pack.Eclectic Dining RoomPin

Let’s check out my features this week!

Melissa found so many amazing dishes, but her jadeite loot has be green with envy!  Love this stuff!  If you tire of any of it, Melissa, you know who to call.  >Me<tst melissasantiquesPinYou can find Melissa on instagram here.

Emily at Watassa found this beautiful original Milo Baughman pit sofa via craigslist and talked her husband into having it shipped!  Side note, this sofa was born the same year as me!  I am also vintage and in original condition.tst watassaPinYou can find Emily on instagram here.

I’ve featured Love Recycled several times, because she finds the best stuff in Florida! I have some theories as to why that is, too.  But anyhow… this Ostrich print caught my eye and I want to put it in my bathroom or design an entire nursery around it for the baby I won’t have but just because it would look awesome in a nursery.tst love recycledPin

You can find Love Recycled on instagram here.

Jess from Domicile37 shared her stunning shelves in her bathroom which she created with awesome found brackets.  And can we talk about the wall color.tst domicile37PinYou can find Jess on instagram here.

Lidi from Edit Design shared this great chair she found on the side of the road!  I need to go running in her neck of the woods.tst lidijajerantPinYou can find Edit Design on instagram here.

And finally, how could I not feature this cutie?tst chelseaPin

I was referring to Chelsea, but the chair she found is pretty sweet, too! You can find Chelsea on instagram here.

I hope you are inspired to get out there and do some thrifting or yard sale shopping this weekend! I had big yard sale plans.  And then mother nature laughed, and said, “I have big snow plans!”  So not happening.

Be sure to visit my cohosts to see their finds and features…

Kind of in love with your Quirk E. Coyote and that jadeite, swoom! I’m not a big “china” shopper but if I were going to buy some this jadeite would be it.

The more I look at the dog candlestick holder, the more I’m thinking it’s either mexican origin or inspired by. It totally has the look. But the pure white is so modern. Love it with your other table decor.
